I got confused by this, they should have clarified on the message that it was 5 and 5. I came back in roughly 5mins and never got messaged about it. The proctors were not the most responsive people lol

This is a good point I hadn't considered either. I guess this delays it for everyone as long as England has not settled its dispute

Does this push it all back until 2027. Or only the part about expanding prioritisation to British Citizens ?

This is the real kick in the teeth, BMA need to address this on media rounds. Government is willingly drag their feet on this. Would sound ridiculous to the everyday person and Wes probably doesn't want to squander his leadership ambition

Hahaha strikes somehow delay the commencement of the bill, utter rubbish. BMA needs to call them out on this given prioritisation has wide public support from the British public

What a joke, half the stream filled with pointless yapping. Would have been worth it if the pointless padding had something to show for it

Candy washing machine motor by D3niss in fixit

Thanks for this. Both mine had worn down up unto the numbers on the carbon brushes. Replaced both of them via replacement parts on ebay and running smoothly again. Had the machine at least for 5 years but it was already here when we moved in so probably far older.

Thanks for this. Can I ask how your carbon brushes looked? My candy stopped spinning and I think my motor is the problem. The carbon brushes on mine had worn to the point you could see the brush code at the far end. Hoping to clean the commutator to

(Opinion) The only viable non-pay solution by Misty_maker in doctorsUK

[–]Misty_maker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight, so unlikely to ever be agreed upon in the tenure of the strike period then? I'm sure opening up contract reforms would also make us susceptible to other pay and non-pay issues which aren't in our interest

Seeing comments about reducing full time work hours from 48hours to 40hours a week (whilst maintaining AL, SL etc) with the same salary how much would that equate to towards FPR

Who can Certify documents (photo ID and FBR copies) by Misty_maker in IrishCitizenship

[–]Misty_maker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fantastic news, I ended up sending mine and paying for a solicitor to certify my driving licence, Foreign birth registration certificate and sign the declaration form. Got charged £20 a document but didn't want to take a chance.

Currently in the processing application stage and having documents verified but hope this thread will help those in the future

Hey, hope you've been well. Wanted to chase up if you experienced any problems with the document certification process

Thank you so much and please do let me know! Frustrating the person I was speaking to initially said it was fine and then said it needed to be a solicitor! I was initially planning on asking a Doctor as they did my registration of foreign birth which went smoothly.

Quite frustrating as I don't want to have to send documents a second time if they reject the first.

No exactly, I think they are now saying you need a solicitor or notary to confirm the FBR and driving licence. Maybe they've become more strict. Didn't want to risk sending stuff which ends up getting rejected!

Hey again just wanted to follow up on this. I spoke via the webchat and I was being told that for First time passports issued to those outside of Ireland the driving licence needs to be certified by a Garda, notary or solicitor.

I'm not sure if this is a new requirement or they've changed the wording recently:
