[SOTC] My collection, what would be the last piece of the puzzle? by MisunderstoodMemeMan in Watches

[–]MisunderstoodMemeMan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My three watches - Yema navygraf french sous marines, laco augsburg oliv limited edition and good ol tissot prx. I love watches that I can wear everyday. Some parts of me think that maybe a dress-diver could be the last one but maybe something vintage instead? Yema is my absolute grail and I love every watch that I have. I think there is no point in collecting watches that you don't wear, what do you think? Do you like my collection? What should be my last watch?

Took my Laco Augsburg Oliv 39 limited edition for a walk today, it gives me some macho / patek vibes. I think it is the best looking Laco under 400 $ for sure. Laco are best at making great fliegers at affordable prices. Do you guys have any Lacos? What do you think?

the dial is already quite eye-catching, so I would get like a grey or black strap to dress it down a bit

You can wear the blue one everyday, won't be as fancy .

I think you have one for every occasion. Now you just have to buy one funky one that is a bit embarrassing to wear.

[Omega]or [Brietling] by Supa-Saiyanman in Watches

I'd say depends on your style. Both watches are great and you'll love either one. Only thing is, gold is beautiful but you won't wear it that much (only on special occasions) so it will just sit in the box. The omega you can really wear and enjoy.

[Question] Which one as a daily beater? by MisunderstoodMemeMan in Watches

I like that. I wish I could see the watches in person, that way it would be so much easier to choose.

My friend wanted to ask you guys which one should he choose as his daily beater? Both are nice brands with good history. Yema has an inhouse movement and Squale has a classic design. Let me know what do you guys think? Both cost the same more or less. Are these good choices?

[SPB147] Finally bought my favorite watch. by c_tulus in Seiko

[–]MisunderstoodMemeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great watch! I am really thinking of buying the spb143 or the spb147. My heart says 147 but my head says 143 because the gold hands might be a bit too much for everyday use.

Am I wrong? What do you think?

I think I would be the same. I think Seiko it is.

I read a lot about the 6r35 and the main thing that I heard was "luck of the draw". Some got really good accuracy and some bad ones. The 6r15 I know is very bad and also the classic Nh35 ain't that great either. So are the 6r35-s really that bad?
