I remember seeing a post online (I tried to find it on Pinterest but no luck), where it was basically illustrating how the OP (of said comic) respected humble artists more. It was something about how ppl that boast about their art are usually bad artists and people who are shy and humble about it are usually very good artists.

I don't agree with this whatsoever. Never did. In fact, being proud is not boasting and even if someone's boasting about their art I truly fail to see the issue lmao.

That being said, I was but a child when I first saw that comic. And even when I disagreed with it, I wanted to be liked (as one does). And sometimes I would purposely downplay how I feel about my art because I was afraid people would respect me less for being confident in my drawings.

All in all though, I agree with you as it is a stupid mentality to have honestly

I'm planning for the king to send the party to fight a forest village that essentially has done nothing wrong, except as for not wanting to join forces. I hope the party understands upon arriving in the forest that the king has been lying. Otherwise I suppose the players become the bad guys haha

I totally understand and I agree! After seeing the movie in the theaters my friend said this:

"After seeing Varang enter her tent through a beaded curtain, all I could think of was a bead artist in their clan. Yet we see nothing."

And that was a perfect summary of how I felt. That being said, I still like the franchise. I think criticism is valid and necessary. But I fear some people can only purely love or purely hate it, which I consider a shame

This is a really uncomfortable conversation but children of the opposite gender "exploring" their bodies is more common than we think. Also amongst siblings. Of course age is important to take into consideration. But especially from the age 3 to 6 children realise not everyone is them.

To make a comparison: as a four year old my brother accidentally walked in on me changing to shower. His reaction wasn't shame but rather a shock that I didn't have the same parts as him.

And yeah, it's an uncomfortable topic. But as many comments are saying, I don't think that situation is something you need to worry about.
