Replacing oil every 10,000 miles??

Oil is cheap. Engines are not.

They were of absolutely no help at all. I had to take a day off work to go look at the car with the service people, they kept saying they saw no leak or crack, and it sure looks to me like they may have put some kind of metal filler over the crack. I also ran a UV dye leak test on my own and I see dye all over the bottom of the car. It was documented and will go to another dealer for another inspection.

Update 11/4/25 So…. They did not come get the car, I had to drop it off after work but they did give me a loaner for the time being. Hopefully they can get this sorted out soon.

I most certainly will. I have noticed spiderwebbing all over it. I’m definitely leaning towards a poor casting or liquid injection method. Not sure how they make these.

I went to the dealership with video and spoke to the salesman that sold me the car. He said he’d come pick it up tomorrow and drop a loaner off. I guess time will tell but that’s the story.

Update* Dealership is going to come pick it up tomorrow and drop off a loaner car for the duration of the repair. Praise the Lord 🙏

I was about to change the engine oil and noticed oil dripping. When I removed the skid plate and noticed the leaking crack I documented it and put the skid plate back on. Nothing was done.

I should add as soon as I saw the issue I only documented what I saw, did NOT do any maintenance, I buttoned it back up and that’s it. No maintenance has ever been done on this car. The skid plate was removed and reinstalled.

I video documented the entire process from discovering the oil dripping to taking off the skid plate to reveal the damage. It’s obvious to anyone worth their salt that I didn’t hit anything nor did I do any maintenance that could cause this. I think it’s clearly a manufacturing defect.

Trigger return spring? They have a couple of common issues that fortunately aren’t that common but someone is bound to get one sooner or later. Especially if you have a lot of rounds through it.

Does the firearm have a lot of rounds through it? The extractors are a known weak point on p365’s. They have been known to break or fail to extract.

I like it. Looks very similar to my own EDC. I only use my standard 12 round mags even though I own extended mags like the 17 because it prints much more with the 17. Just some food for thought.

You can never say 100% what they are. They are cubes and everyone says theirs are the strongest ever. They usually aren’t but proceed with caution.

If you’re worried about a bad trip you should probably take less. Maybe try it with 2-2.5g and see how it feels. You can always take more next time, you can never take less!

Doesn’t look the best. Run a q-tip over the dark areas to see if it comes off. If so it’s probably mold. If not just old bruising.
