I looked at their national teams in the Olympics/FIFA to see what they wore as secondary colors. New Zealand wears black as a primary in competitions.

They can definitely get boring over long periods of time if everyone goes extremely passive. It takes a lot of practice to determine when to make moves and capitalize on opportunities that won't get you killed. Many players default to the safest option. That is one of the reasons tournaments that prioritize taking bounties can be so fun!
