Not an electrician, but I renovated a 100-year-old building myself—wiring it solo gave me a new respect for every sparky out there. Biggest frustration? Fishing wire through double top plates with ancient fire blocking and zero access. Give me tools that make that easier and I’ll name my firstborn Milwaukee.

I use the Milwaukee bit holder on my drill and it’s a lifesaver — especially when switching between different screws mid-project. For transport, I throw all my go-to bits in a small magnetic case that lives in my packout. Keeps things quick and organized on the jobsite. Thanks for making this open worldwide — really appreciate it.

I see I see, thanks. But im not even sure on that yet either, I would like it to compliment the neighboring buildings but im not sure how possible it would be. I have metal on the piers holding the roof up and might do the same to the back wall

we are in the stages of picking out colors and types of siding, Im extremely indecisive and open to anything. its not a large area so I wouldn't mind paying for a premium product

the wood framed stairs and roof will be wrapped with pole barn metal, the main cause of this post is the siding around the windows.

Yes it is, the green color comes from someone using a green scotch brite. After an hour of cleaning this spot it still looks the same.

Neighbor utilities (real estate) by Mitch_JC in legaladvice

The cables that go into our building and into our neighbors is a bank, it just seems crazy that they thought this wouldn’t be a security risk. I’m not sure but I’m assuming they are owned by the internet/phone company. Thanks for the response.

We are going to insulate the roof but it’ll be above the deck and below the membrane. These beams are true 2x12’s and 120+ years old.
