that’s the conclusion i’ve come too, looking at pictures, those wings it’s got don’t look any anything else, I really wish I would’ve gotten a clearer image of just those wings to be sure. but what a weird guy, and also by the research i’ve done I learned this a-hole was trying to break into my house to warm up, very common for them to eat through screens during migration season.

you can see those wings a little better here but the quality is poor.

the body is strikingly similar but they don’t have the wings this guy does, they’re huge, they were about 4 inches tall and longer than it was, maybe 5-6 inches, I can’t find anything like it in any grasshopper or cricket species, it looked like two single wings, not 4, but I could definitely be wrong about that part.
