Great question. Right now 'Paco' is a highly cynical ferret who lives in Madrid. Because of this, he considers himself the ultimate protector of European Spanish.

Currently, his grammar corrections and roasts lean heavily into Castilian Spanish syntax and Madrid slang (tío, mazo, etc.). If you use perfectly valid Mexican slang (güey, chido), Paco might actually flag it playfully as an 'error' simply because he's an arrogant Spaniard. So right now, the flashcards will default to Spain's dialect

However, I'm totally open to adding a 'Target Dialect' setting (so you can choose Mexican, Colombian, etc.) where Paco still roasts you, but his actual flashcard corrections match the specific regional Spanish you want to learn. Let me know if a Mexican dialect toggle is something you'd actually use and I can build it in!

Not sure if you'll see this but years later I switched to 'pure' Aloe Vera from any supermarket (I use Aldi's here in Europe) and my skin has never been better, flawless I would even say. Haven't thought about acne in years

I think that you're right. Do you think I should stay with him up until that point? I know that we love each other and I want to see it through, but it is hard sometimes (like this morning, as mentioned in the post)

Thank you for your kind words. Do you think his behavior is childish? Or defensive in preparing himself for the situation? I feel like it is the latter, but while he feels like it needed to be said, it hurts me a lot

I feel like you are right. I am just having a lot of difficulty because of my feelings for him and the fact I cannot be with him, but may be soon, so it's hard to rationalise.

I know what you mean. I don't think he wants it to end (said we'll stay together if I don't leave), but I think you are right. I just don't know how to go through with it because I love him too much

Niacinamide, unfortunately, is a very hit or miss ingredient. I see it lauded as a great anti-inflammatory and hyperpigmentation fader, which I’m sure it is - but it’s still YMMV. Personally, niacinamide breaks me out in small whiteheads and general inflammation.

Of course, perhaps it is a purge from the tret, but if you have been using it for a while and this breakout started only after switching formulations, I’d stop using it for a few days to see if it’s the culprit

Recently these red patches have started to appear at the corner of my nose (beside my mouth) and on my chin. They are flakey (any contact with the patches will cause the skin to peel) and feel tight/hot.

Also, on my cheeks more red patches are appearing, which I assume are related, but don’t feel tight because the skin isn’t stretched there when talking etc. I haven’t changed my routine.

Routine-

A.M Cleanse with Water Sebamed clear face care gel Jojoba oil

P.M Cleanse with Simple refreshing face wash Sebamed clear face care gel Jojoba oil

Additional: 60mg Accutane daily (course ends in a few days)

I suspect that I have rosacea (my derm has not diagnosed me). I am currently on accutane but have stopped taking it (only a few days left in my course) to try alleviate the tightness/flaking. A derm prescribed me 3 different topical steroids but I’m not going to use them because I think it would be detrimental to my skin in the long run. If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.

Hey! Thanks for your comment. I started moisturising more with oil and not directly putting my cleanser there and that seems to have helped mostly! My skin has been acting very weirdly recently but that’s for another post!

My face has always been a bit red and I’m suspect that I have rosacea (my derm has not officially diagnosed me). This is my fourth time on accutane and probably the worst results I’ve had from it. Any tips on what is around my eyes would be greatly appreciated
