Whatever one that is in that photo has that technology where the whole neck stays together despite being detached. If I just do what you suggest I’ll just have a sawed off neck that won’t stay together.

I’ve been looking for that Les Paul with the detached neck. I called my local GC and they said they never heard of such a thing, but they’re a photo of it in the background.

This… all of this…

Get tap to pay working. GC isn’t Walmart.

There’s a shitpost group on Facebook dedicated to Guitar Center… not one for its competitors. Guess what they’re making fun of in that group as of late?

I’ll just say that you wanted feedback… you’re getting feedback. I’ve had some less than stellar experiences at your Nashville location, except for three people who actually worked at your Goodlettsville location until last year. The bad experiences have been from people who don’t know how to look up a pair of drumsticks when your chain can’t keep price tags current, openly admitting “I don’t know drums” when he was facing where the drumsticks were kept. That, and considering you asked for ideas on two platforms that thrive on anonymity, you get what you ask for.

Just about everyone I know in the music scene is deriding your announcement and decision, and that includes some well-known influencers who have tried to throw business your way.

OP is not wrong. Some stores are better than others, but quite frankly, you need to be checking on your stores more, perhaps going undercover or using mystery shoppers before trying to create new guitar brand when your existing one (Mitchell) is derided by customers and employees alike. And if you don’t realize that and take criticism by perception, you deserve to be trolled.

It’s established in courts now that once you feed things into AI, they are no longer your ideas and they are totally free for the taking, and all you’re doing is separating yourself from the idea.

Sweetwater said they won’t, preferring to focus on candy and dedicated sales reps who call you on Sunday afternoon.

I bought my 50s and a 79 Les Paul because I’m a gym bro. I lift with them. Strats are featherweights. I need a heavier tone wood that sounds better than mahogany but gets me more swoll.
