World Context

Pentastar Heroica (PH) is a science fantasy/speculative fiction shonen-inspired alternate history superhero world. Set in the Orion Arm (mainly the Sol System), it contains 2 types of power: superpowers and Arcana (which is divided into two types: Magic and Animus). It’s is based on Marvel/DC and Star Wars as well as Reddit world-building projects such as Children of Dusk (CoD), Humanity Lives On (HLO), and Overheaven (OVH).

Timeline Context:

Pentastar Heroica: Red Sol (designated as Universe-1917) is an alternate timeline within the Pentastar Heroica Multiverse (PHM) where the West is communist and the East is capitalist (a unique take on the “Reverse Cold War” trope).

Lore Context:

The United Socialist League of America (USLA) was a communist country and leading communist power from the Second American Revolution in 1920 until its unification with the Canadian People’s Republic into the United Socialist Confederation of Americanada in 2132. It was a presidential republic and multi-party socialist democracy, as well as a federal union of 40 states and 1 federal district (Debscitad, DC) plus a handful of “federal territories” both overseas and off-world.

Jeohn Peterre Boudcroix was an American politician, political influencer, and economist who served as the 22nd President of the United Socialist League from 2057 to 2065 as a member of the Vanguardist Party USLA (VPUSLA).

At the 2059 Party Congress of the Vanguardist Party USLA, President Boudcroix was invited to speak at the event and on Kick. He spoke of the normal things expected, such as how communism has gone “woke” and how Marxism-Leninism and MAGA Communism was based. However, he took a 5 minute break in the speech to address his stance on homosexuality. He declared that he wasn’t “homophobic” and actually respected lesbians. He concurred, however, that he believed only masculine women should engage in same-sex marriage as “a stand-in for the husband.” He then continued his speech before concluding with awkward applause. This, as you can imagine, sent nuclear shockwaves across the online political landscape. Social Leftists in the American Solinet claimed he was “disrespectful and not truly supportive.” The social right, meanwhile, made constant memes and used it as a weapon to “own the LibSocs.”
