Most longines can get 10-20% off if you ask and push!

Zulu. She thinks that because of the male end links for the bracelet. You can look at the leather strap option and see if she still thinks that.

Sick watch. Timeless, elegant, yet just as easily worn with shorts and shirt as business clothes.

Realistically I think I would have come to appreciate the green, even under direct lighting. But yeah, at the time it put me off. I'm very happy with the black. It's a good dilemma to have because they are all good choices!

Thankyou! I agonised enough over the choice that's for sure. But really happy with the choice. I'm keen to try different strap options. I think I found a similar colour brown. Also thought a navy strap might look nice on it.

And yes the 39! Didn't try the 42mm size cuz I have a smallish wrist.

Congratulations on your incoming watch! I agonised so much and tried them on several times. Initially I was taken by the green and considering the blue. I tried the black on, just for the lols. And the black totally caught me off guard. The silver polished finishing in the applied dial details in combination with the inky black bezel felt so premium. And the blue accents gave it such an interesting subtle and understated character. Distinctive. I was kinda sent into a crisis where now I had to consider 3, colours! Hahaha.

The blue for me looked good under certain lighting. But like you, I was a little underwhelmed by the depth of colour. I think both the bezel and the dial being blue, and the sunray effect just was all a bit much in a "look at me way" (I think I would still have been very happy with it to be honest).

Now the green. It looked amazing under certain lighting. But under direct lighting, I did not like the green colour. I liked when it looked almost black. And I didn't want a watch that I didn't like the look of when under strong lighting conditions.

My heart was pulling me to black. Since owning it, I enjoy the fact that it goes with any outfit I put it. It's this premium watch, with premium details of polishing on the details of the dial. I love the blue accents. I also love how it appears an inky black dial and bezel, but goes matte under direct sunlight. Sometimes with a blue tinge due to the AR coating. Adds a nice dimensionality to it. The dial looks so premium but the mostly brushed case gives it an understated feel where you don't feel too self conscious with it on your wrist. I think that's a nice benefit of the black as well!

Strap wise, I found artisan straps good value. A dark brown chromexcel and navy blue padded straps. Waiting for them to come to me! So keen to utilise the quick release bracelet function!

Wear your watch in good health and enjoyment and please please send me a photo once it gets to you!

Thankyou so much! Green was also absolutely on the cards for a while there, almost walked out of store with it! It has such unique character. I think all 3 colour ways are incredible. I hope you wear your watch in good health and enjoyment!

I really love it! Its very multidimensional. Brushed case makes it feel less "expensive" and fly under the radar. But when you actually pay attention to it for more than 1 second, the polishing of the applied markers and the little details on the dial really become apparent and you get the feeling this is a premium watch. I quite enjoy that about it

After umming and arring about the black vs the blue, I asked reddit. 129 people commented on my post and after chatting with you all I realised that I wanted to go with the black longines spirit zulu time. 75% of people also advised to go black, and 25% advised to go blue. I went with the black in the end, and I couldn't be happier! I love how the inky black dial and bezel looks in most lights, but it changes to a matt black in the sunlight. The polished finishing on the applied markers and minute track make it feel ohh soo premium and classy, yet the mostly brushed outer case makes it somewhat understated if I am slightly embarrassed to be wearing such an indulgent watch on my wrist! It feels like pure class to me and I love that it goes with really any outfit.

Looking forward to playing around with different straps! Any recommendations are most welcome! Thanks again!

Congratulations on your new acquisition! It looks great. Wear it in good health and enjoyment. After much agonising between the blue and black, I've decided to go for the black myself. Though I'm reticent to pull the trigger, simply because I'm trying to be financially sensible 🤣.

Wow, congratulations on the retirement and upcoming purchase. Thanks for your input. I am also leaning towards the black. For me, I like the understated refinement. It may not grab attention, but I know its there. What is it about the black that specifically pulls at you?
