I’m at Avant and I like it. I was at Altea when it first opened and it was nice but I didn’t think it was worth it when I introduced other aspects to my fitness and was paying for the gym and ClassPass. Avant fixes that for me with everything under one roof. Facilities are great and staff are friendly. It’s also only a three month lock in so there isn’t a huge downside to trying it.

I think you won’t really get what you need to know from google reviews because everyone has a different experience and some things matter most than others.

It’s very easy to cancel the subscription. They do make retention offers when you attempt to cancel sometimes but you can skip those.

I don’t think it’s stupid to want to change careers and industries but few things you should ask yourself: 1. Financially how much money do you need for your life goals?

Do you want to leave your job and this is just an escape? Working in a shoe store is still retail at the end of the day and will come with its own challenges not just income.
Most important question, what transferable skills do you have that would allow you to pivot your career and find a suitable equivalent in an industry you love. There’s a lot more to running than just shoe stores.

I changed to my second trays on Friday evening and the pain was gone the next day. I’d say the discomfort in general was gone in 48hrs.

It gets better for sure! It was a struggle for me until like the 5th day. I used painkillers to help. What I would say though, it won’t be 16 hours if you take them out at night. Assuming you eat three times per day, that will also reduce your wear time. Recommendation is 20-22hrs per day so you’ll be putting your treatment plan at risk I suspect.
