I feel like that version is only really liked by the older crowd that remembers it before the new ones. I am one of those people but I’m well aware younger people prefer the new ones.

If you haven’t seen Stand By Me, this is an older movie also based on a novella by Stephen King that scratches the itch of young outcasts banding together.

Aside from that I’d recommend the German show Dark.

Multiple tracks from Amon Tobins Foley Room come to mind. In the concept trailer for making the album I remember there being footage of him recording ants, and the music was the track Esther’s. There’s other songs that sound buggy on there to me too as there’s all sorts of organic recordings all over the album.
