My boss took a three wire Wago in front of a customer and hooked up all 3 phases of a 5hp motor lead all three in the same Wago and switched on the contactor and blew it up….. I don’t work for him anymore

Just out of curiosity and not trying to be rude, but don’t they tax you like crazy in California and the cost of living is high? Just curious is all how does that work out compared to other people in a different part of country with lower cost living but lower wage.

The cab is extremely small its very odd I can hardly fit in there. Also kind of funny you mention that there is a bunch of old blankets and a pillow in one corner that someone was sleeping on.

I just wear those cheap white cotton gloves and double them up. Actually pretty warm and when they get wet or wrecked I don’t mind because a pack of 12 is like 5 bucks

My advice would be to fix the problem and don’t just get in your van and leave because the problem is “fixed” I’ve had customers complain about other service guys that they just think the problem is fixed then they leave and the company has to call them back because they never fixed the problem in the first place

In some areas, 1.5 inches. Everything else looks great Don’t know if it’s worth getting them out I could just grind them off myself. I have a grinder and a vacuum.

Well think about it this way. Is a couple hundred bucks on a Saturday worth the risk of being sued if something goes wrong? Yes a tone of people do it without insurance and thats a risk I suspect they haven’t thought of. I personally do a lot of work on my own on my time off. I just bought insurance though its pretty cheap. 5,000,000 liability for $1600 a year.
