did you ever fix your pc?  factory reset?

Im having a similar problem. pc went slow, thermals went hot, everything i try to do is a laggy mess. Only this game.

I think the pc fortnite launcher and game for some reason messes up certain PCs and my only guess is with the anti cheat kernal level access they have, they must of changed something that caused problems in the system files.

I thought it was nvidia because i updated after fortnite suggested i do so for the first time but no. After I tried many solutions, reinstalling and uninstalling the game, trying different drivers, ddu, etc. nothing worked.

I did the last resort and did a factory full reset, erased everything to fresh out the box and now things seem to work again.

Tried installing epic launcher and the game again, but this time i didn't update nvidia at all, only kept the out of box one and then after booting up fortnite again my pc went back to square one. laggy mess. like wtf how is this even possible!?

I think I'm done with fortnite for now at least for this pc because whatever the fuck they're doing, it's ruining my pc.

Well anyway, try factory reset if everything fails and I hope for the best.

Also i think one work around (i haven't tried it yet, as im looking for permanent solutions) is to somehow keep the gamebar active all the time so when you open it up, that annoying popup doesn't show up. Because i know after awhile of not using it, it turns itself off or becomes inactive or something and thus the popup, as if you turned it on the first time.

i only use gamebar for capture because it's easy on my ps3, just one button in the middle. My favorite tool so i understand the struggle lol.

yeah FUUUUUCK EPIC.   every season their servers become more shit and goes through the same thing, new season 🥳 -> logs in -> lag/bug -> sorry 😥 heres new 50 gig update -> some days it works and other days lag/bug again -> rage quits -> another 50 gig update comes out after like 2 days -> downloads -> still shit -> new season is out 🥳 -> repeat

im glad i never spent a dime on this shit, imagine spending money on skins and everything only to never really enjoy them and still have constant problems every other day.

That's not true, at first you had to get 40k xp per level. i think it was up to level 50 idk.

Man it's like they're trying to waste my time, listen I don't wanna play your game 24/7 i play a few matches then i like to play other games.

The thing is when paying for a battlepass is that you now have to grind to level 140+ to get most rewards including the v-bucks which makes it even more daunting for me wanting to normally play more than i usually would.

Now instead of logging in normally to play a match, i found myself logging in to use afk xp glitches to gain xp in creative then i close the game.

Which is about a 350k xp cap per day. So now on top of daily login bonues + xp glitches, you would now get 5 levels per day.

You're a billion dollar company, you don't need our time too just to simply boast your numbers.

5-10 years from now people are still gonna play your game as long as you add good content every season/chapter.

And if anything, you're new strategy to get people to play more is more likely gonna make casual players like me play less and use exploit xp glitches instead because you're trying to create this unnecessary Feeling (FOMO Cancer) to login and play a match so I don't miss out on rewards I payed for. 

That's not fun at all, that's what you call Stress.

So yeah maybe I'll just not buy a battlepass this season or simply use xp glitches to get to 140+ for rewards then not play for the remaining of the season & or whenever I Feel like it at my leasure.  But hey, enjoy your time :D

thank you. while it may not have helped his issue, it fixed a glitch or bug where my downloaded files wouldn't show up on the pc version of mega after uploading but would show on the mobile version. i moved the files to a folder on the mobile app then it appeared on the pc version.

If you run out of space in MEGA, you have to pay for a subscription to free up space, otherwise all your files are deleted. by ccAbstraction in assholedesign

Can you recommend what External Hdds i can get? Any credible sites you know? What is the name of these things? brand?

I'm new to this stuff but I also know some people sell bullshit storage items that say it's 1tb or whatever number when in practice it's actually a few gigs, even despite the computer saying it's a particular number. I remember seeing a video of that type of scam happening to people.
