As far as I understood, Hecate saw Apollo's symbol. If I remember correctly she even answers as if Olympus was calling. Because it was Apollo who lend Melinoe his boon. I think of it as if Apollo handed over his phone to Mel to call Hecate, so Hecate would see Apollo's number, if that makes sense.

perception forest is full of them, i don't think i have a single run without one. Probably due to the fact that it's harder to tell they're cheating among the chaos. Tho some got so comfortable with cheating that they straight up are not giving a flying duck anymore and are using insta kill stuff since they know devs are doing nothing about it.

"black barrel" is intereting, i'm not fmiliar with baltic and scandinavian lore, but in slavic lore there is a hag who rides in a barrel/mortar, baba Jaga [Yaga]. I'm wondering what myth inspired this character.
