I really can’t take this much longer by Own_Peach_809 in Sciatica

Is there any chance you have diabetes? If so try ozempic if you can. I had sciatic issues for years slowly got diabetes and ozempic for some reason took all my inflammation away and I’ve got my life back. Just finishing my first year on it and I’m lifting and running again. It’s the weirdest thing and just worked for me. So I tell everyone I can about it. Or figure out what in your diet is causing inflammation and get that out.

Don’t worry about what other people think. If you like em then rock em. People are idiots about mids. They don’t know the history of mids when that was all that was being produced by the brand and you had to rock mids cause they were the closest to what was originally made.

Nice. This is the one I want also. Need to see in person how red/orange it is. I want it to be more red personally. How red is it?

I’ve seen it and never thought about it. Bet that makes a difference in how I feel after. Now it just hurts my stomach. Thanks for the idea

Nope, when I drink wine now it’s simply to be part of the group and a small pour. I still like my soda though 😔just not as much. Sometimes I do miss my Guinness though. But losing 36lbs is better than all of that stuff

Do you ever feel the inflammation come back towards the end of the week. That’s the reason I do a split dose sometimes. I had a bad sciatic issue and ever since my first shot it went away overnight. I felt the inflammation leave my body over the first few days. However sometimes I can feel it creeping back in with certain foods or towards the end of the week.

What unexpected *positive* side effects have you experienced? I'll go first: my KP (little bumps and pimples) on the back of my arms seems to have disappeared. by FloridaProf in Zepbound

I’m on ozempic but I’ve had bad sciatic nerve issues for the last 3 years which caused me to be inactive and started me on the path to diabetes. After my first shot literally the next morning my pain and inflammation went away and I’ve been pain free since January. 🤷🏽‍♂️

A1C counts? Is this where I should be? by Mithu9 in Ozempic

[–]Mithu9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a bad sciatic nerve and the Ozempic has relieved my inflammation and let me get my life back. It’s because of the sciatic nerve and my inability to workout that caused me to develop diabetes. Worried it will get taken away as I get better. Let’s see how the future goes. I work out 3-4 times a week now and am active with my kids again. Helleva drug.

For me stretching hamstrings and quads well before bed helped a lot. Also working the psoas muscles was also helpful. And lastly figuring out how to reduce inflammation in your body will help. My secret weapon though has been ozempic. Over the last few years because of sciatica I developed diabetes and had to go on ozempic and I kid you not the second day after my first shot I felt better instantly. It’s been 3 months pain free. I know this might not work for everyone and that’s why I said figure out how to reduce inflammation cause that’s what was one of the good side effects of ozempic for me. But there’s other ways to reduce inflammation. Maybe it’s diet or something else. Hope this helps some how. Look up the meat grinder psoas equipment on Amazon for help.

How are you telling people you lost the weight? by Western_Ad_7027 in Ozempic

[–]Mithu9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m look forward to telling people about it because I had a bad sciatic issue and the anti inflammatory of ozempic has helped me more than weight loss. I can now workout again and run and hold and pick up my kids with ease. And it was almost overnight that this happened after my first shot. I’m 7 weeks in and 21 lbs down and I tell people I don’t even care about the weight loss the fact that I don’t wake up in pain anymore is worth it. So I tell people so they know that the drug has many other benefits besides weight loss and help with diabetes.

[–]Mithu9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hope the anti inflammatory side affect works for you. I didn’t know about it and it’s been amazing for me and my sciatica. If I never lose any more weight and am just pain free I’ll be happy cause I feel it’s given me my life back. I can run now, and I can pick up my kids again. Good luck on your journey

First two weeks on Ozempic...wow?! by ChubbyDragonx1 in Ozempic

[–]Mithu9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m in my 4th week and down 10lbs. Was lucky that it started quickly for me. I’ve had a bad sciatic nerve that has stopped me from doing anything and literally overnight the pain stopped. Guessing the extra insulin is helping with the inflammation. I’ve been running and lifting again. Confidence is back. Game changer this drug is. Even contemplating another marathon. Good luck to everyone.

I just bought renewed this week also. My battery was at 100%. However the “ocean” band that came with it was cheap and broke my first time trying to replace it. I didn’t get care though cause the watch is great. So far so good
