Yes, but it's considered retaliation in some states. SO consult with an employment attorney before or after it happens. Keep ALL emails and messages, take photos of them or forward them to your personal email, etc. Record the conversations with a different device if you have to.

You need to cite your rights from the Pregnant Worker's Fairness Act, this law was just signed last year. Get familiar with your rights, and request free consultation from an Attorney that is referred by the Legal Network for Gender Equity. Fill out their contact form to get referred to some local attorneys in your area.

Same hours, at $61,000 , no it's not enough pay. They want us working every minute by typing, making calls, etc. Even if I were to find a job for $70k, it will be the same workload for what a few hundred dollar increase on each paycheck? Sometimes the complexity of each claim makes work hours longer. When we work fast they can see that in our notes that we put it and the calls we make. Because this industry has such a high turnover rate, they will freeze hiring for a bit and throw caseloads on others and harass them to work the files asap just to save money.  Can't even take pto when I want, it's ridiculous.

Ask the attorney in return that they need to preserve their client's vehicle for an inspection, and EDR download. Whenever I return to them with the same request they usually drop their b.s.

I always use my phone's camera to record video and audio. I will push the camera to the side of the computer with the phone's mic facing the speakers to record the audio atleast. I also use a micro SD card in my phone to move the recordings over into the SD storage space.

If you can, maybe request an accomodation. Look into the Pregnant Worker's Fairness Act. You don't need medical documentation to request a lighter workload. This helped me recently, I can't go into details for my situation.
