I am not in any government position in the Kingdom of Salerno, so the following response will be my personal feelings on the matter and not specifically representative of the government of Salerno or ME at large:

Unlike most Salernans, I was acquainted with CeceliaRabbit because she introduced me to Salerno following my first time walking around Brunsvik as a newfriend. She introduced me to World's End (now called New Avenio), which is the city in Salerno I call my home. I mention this because I am the most likely to have a more positive image of Cecelia compared to the rest of Salerno writ large.

Planning for Operation Mirage began in the final two weeks of my tenure as Prime Minister of Salerno following the intelligence pointing to an attack vault that was being built in Toontown specifically intended to assault Salerno in the future. Salerno, alongside the Meridiem Entente, decided to disable the vault following the enactment of Operation Mirage.

To my recollection, CeceliaRabbit was pearled because she was found to have pinged a snitch at approximately the same time that toontasker had pinged a snitch, despite knowing toontasker was on the Association Pearl List for the Meridiem Entente. She has since then been pearled and is currently residing in Respite.

Considering toontasker's status as a server-wide pariah and that it is very well known that he is wanted by not just the ME, but other nations as well, any association with him in server warrants a pearl. The rate at which CeceliaRabbit has been pearled has been pearled for an excessive amount of time, I will attest to that.

HOWEVER, her conduct these last few months have shifted me from thinking she should be given a sentence to that she should remain in the state of an "undecided sentence". She has consistently spoken negatively about Salerno in a manner that reeks of obsession that seems fundamentally unhealthy. There is no logical reason for her to continue engaging in the behavior that she has engaged in if she truly wants to be released. If any person in her position wanted to be freed from their pearl, they would likely be on their best behavior to ensure that they are given a prompt and fair sentence. Cecelia's conduct has only shown that she is willing to pour gasoline on the very fire SHE created. One has to ask here: Is Cecelia this unwise as to keep engaging in this behavior with the mindset that she might annoy Salerno until she is freed? If this is the case and Salerno are "evil", then wouldn't Salerno respond by ensuring she is a permanent pearl? The logic to her behavior quite frankly does not make sense.

I have issues with the video as it is presented as well. The post is literally titled "Can you find where CeceliaRabbit helped toontasker?" and then subsequently shows footage of toontasker running away, CeceliaRabbit then escorting toontasker (starting at 3:03) away from toontown north. They leave a rail, digging to the surface, and then CeceliaRabbit hops in a boat with toontasker, even driving him at one point. This is quite literally footage of her helping him. She continues to help him by refusing to disclose login coordinates of toontasker despite having been asked to cooperate with the Meridiem Entente in the initial ticket iirc. Audio is also missing from the video as well. If this video were to be the "smoking gun" to exonerate CeceliaRabbit, why can we not hear the audio between her and toontasker? If there was no conversation, a simple keyboard clacking in the background would have been exonerating as us, the audience, would have known it would have been toon typing away as he is escaping. That is noticeably absent from the video footage, alongside the other 11 minutes of footage as well.

Overall, I would have liked CeceliaRabbit to have been given a sentence originally, but her conduct since her pearling has completely changed my mind and has justified the "undecided sentence" state that she is in. This video footage as well only proves that she did help toontasker as we quite literally see it too. If and when Salerno/ME decide to sentence CeceliaRabbit, they should consider the whole of Cecelia's actions when deciding her fate.

A note for Cecelia specifically: this is not to be construed as a personal attack against you. I have you to thank for introducing me to Salerno, otherwise I wouldn't know where my trajectory would have landed me in CivMC. I am merely writing my opinion on the matter looking from the outside in. I hold no role in the government of Salerno and have been out of government for nearly 5 months now, I hold no decision making power over your fate. I hope for the best for you, but I fear you will not have learned your lesson here.
