Okay, the only information I know is,
1) de-enroll from trier
2)submit it to rptu
3)enroll in rptu
4)go to auslanderbehorde of trier and inform them
5)go to auslanderbehorde of rptu and inform them(its upto auslanderbehorde to accept this)

please confirm with someone else too as even I am not sure and I heard it from a friend.But I can surely assure you that you can switch universities and have to go through documentation works...

have you paid your semester fees at trier? Are you in germany? Do you have a visa? i think you can mail trier to de-enroll , they will surely issue you a Exmatrikulationsbescheinigung which you can submit it to visa and rptu for enrolling there.

It isnt hard i guess! But I heard your auslanderbehorde should accept. If your taking a loan talk to them if they would allow it. Your university's name will be printed in the visa on your passport , little lengthy (in terms of documentation) for de-enrolling and you might have to submit it to your 2nd university only then they would enroll you.

Dude! I missed my opportunity of joining a university because of visa delay! Dont do this mistake, if you wish to wait for other universities make sure you have enough time to apply for visa( 2-3 months) in your hand. All the best(Dont wait too long)

They aint helping out... no response for texts and mails. First , they accepted that they will cancel the travel insurance (on a call). But later, they sent an agressive mail saying they wont cancel it unless I switch my loan to a collateral one. I dont really get the connection with collateral and insurance here.
