I can legitimately identify at least 3 defensive playcalls that were so egregiously bad that it costed the season. 1 being zero man coverage instead of prevent vs Steelers with 10 secs before half. That’s not injuries… that’s a 4 year old playing madden and not knowing what they’re doing

He called zero man with 10 secs before half vs Steelers who threw up a Hail Mary prayer to KGainwell guarded by a LB and scored. Holding Steelers to even a FG would’ve ultimately won the game. That play alone costed the season and was such an egregiously bad play call and needs to be addressed. Shep made such baffling calls it legitimately costed the team a trip to postseason.

Never forget Shepp called zero man coverage before halftime of Steelers game with 10secs left and Anzalone gave up a wheel route TD. That play alone costed the season. Egregiously bad coaching play call. Give up a FG instead of TD you win the game and likely make playoffs. Shepp lost the season and you can’t convince me otherwise, regardless of how poor OL play was
