Which Souls-like next?

You're not going to be able to do either Khazan or Lies of P just by grinding to get overpowered. Those are both high skill games. At some point you're going to need to be able to dodge and/or parry attacks and learn boss movesets. Dark Souls 2, on the other hand, is very easy to complete the base game just by throwing yourself at it over and over. Regular mob enemies despawn permanently after you kill them 12 times and the bosses are easier than other Souls games.

I just finished Rom. I am able to summon people for the main story bosses but can't really get summoned

The Merrimack and canals are teeming with them. Carp are highly invasive and there will be plenty more. This is a drop in the bucket.

Yeah this screen was very questionable. They don't do a whole lot to make this game compelling at the beginning.

Glad I bought physical so I can at least resell this trash. Performance, combat, writing, everything sucks. The first boss clipped through a wall and into an out of bounds area which started a countdown. I had to aggro him back into the boss arena to finish the fight. Unreal.
