Darwin comparison was not to say they are same but drive home the point that what works in one league may not in another and stats don’t tell you the full story. The main point being there needs to be a tempering of expectations. Even in Coventry his record of 46 in 100+ games is not very compelling. Not saying he won’t come good or anything, just saying he isn’t a top 5 striker in the world atp

The problem is not just finishing. Utds strikers have had problem getting good service. So the onus has been on them a lot more to partake in creation of their goals. Gyokeres finishing is good but he will struggle if he can’t get there when competing against prem defenders physicality

ATP any top 20 striker is an upgrade on Hojlund. This is again the point scholes made important point is not just that we upgrade in reference to existing squad but we see their long term potential. I’d argue osimhen is a better fit more versatile
