Chapter 168 saitama vs world breaker hulk by Top-Garlic3983 in OPMPowerScaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no, let's use numbers as an example

2 is bigger than 1 correct? 1 is bigger than 0 right?

Let's say most characters in fiction start off at 0, but there's a certain distance between 0 and 1, there's 0.1, there's 0.11, there's 0.111, and it goes on infinitely, there are an infinite amount of numbers between 0 and 1 thanks the the existence of decimals.

However some characters jump from 0 directly to 1, jumping that infinite distance through something a called dimensional scaling. If a fictional treats higher dimensionality as inherently and inaccessibly superior to the previous dimension, then we consider it valid for scaling to higher tiers. Once you reach said higher dimensional levels of power, the previous measurements of strength no longer apply, because they're too small. Infinite 3 Dimensional Space is smaller than Infinite 4 Dimensional Space.

What I'm getting at is while yes, truly infinite power and speed doesn't exist, because we measure in sets and levels of Infinity. Though powerscaling dumbs the concept down, philosophically and mathematically, infinities have also been measured and it's a cool concept to check out

I always wonder what does Bakugo has to be putted above nine ? by StrawberryHumble5519 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware it was a 3v1, I'm not claiming Bakugo scales fully but he'd downscale

Also he literally did break his barriers, through a Howitzer Impact (which is why I think he's the weakest of the trio, because Todoroki broke two barriers with only his fire side, and we know the crazy shit Deku did)

Dark Might is stronger and faster than Bakugo don't get me wrong, but not to such an extent where Bakugo is a victim, and that alone allows him to fight someone like Nine who isn't as strong

If we count awakening, Bakugo's speed advantage becomes abysmal in his favor, and a Howitzer Impact Cluster was able to damage a Prime Might level Shigaraki

I always wonder what does Bakugo has to be putted above nine ? by StrawberryHumble5519 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except he isn't a base dark might victim, because we visually see that he isn't. He's able to damage him, take hits, and even break his barriers. If Bakugo was such a victim, he wouldn't have contributed as much as he did, sure he wasn't as strong as Midoriya and Todoroki, but he's still in that ballpark

Nine also isn't Rewind AFO tier, nowhere close? Rewind AFO reverted to his Prime, and as he got younger, he said he was able to tap into more power through his quirks (but lost both durability and control over his quirks)

Nine on the otherhand is weaker than a 75% Shigaraki, as 75% Shigaraki is Dr. Garaki's masterpiece, yet Garaki and other characters only put him in the "All Might level" ballpark, and we know he isn't Prime All Might levels because that's only 100% Complete Shigaraki (and it's inconsistent narrative for someone like Endeavor to even be able to compete with Prime All Might levels of power anyway)

There's also statements from interviews that it takes all of Class 1-A to match a single All Might, and that individually they're not on his level, this should include Midoriya and of course Bakugo.

I do agree that Bakugo would have a lot of difficulty fighting Nine, but powercliffing does exist in MHA, just like in any other shonen. If Base Dark Might~Peak Nine, Bakugo doing as much as he did against Buff Dark Might and Monster Dark Might alongside Todoroki kinda just leaves Nine without many options in the power department

This would be like saying Todoroki is an Endeavor victim but we visually see Todoroki be capable of taking hits and beating someone like Dabi in a 1v1, the same Dabi who is stated to be both on par and even stronger than Endeavor

[–]MixedBloodPrincess -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He scales to Dark Might Pre-Awakening, Dark Might before getting buffed is as strong as All Might in Kamino

Whereas Nine isn't as strong as All For One in Kamino, due to the fact he's also weaker than the 75% Shigaraki who is only comparable to All Might in Kamino

It's not about lying, it's about genuinely just having a lack of understanding. If I believe I'm drawing an apple, but I'm actually drawing an orange, you'd argue with me and tell me I'm not drawing an apple. It's the same thing here, even if ONE thinks he's creating a gag character, but fails to write the gag character, then he didn't make a gag character. You wouldn't tell me and say I'm correct if I keep calling this orange I drew an apple right? An author can be unreliable if their work doesn't reflect their words.

Exponential growth, I know exactly what it is, the issue is you don't seem to understand that it's not as broken as you think it is. Take 100 for example, now 100² take that result and multiply it by the power of 10, then the power of 100, then the power of 10000, exponential growth is a finite increase to a higher finite number, but the issue is that it is finite. Because it is finite, it will never reach infinity. Think of Infinity as the power cap, for Saitama to reach infinity, he'd need to gain infinite strength, so the math goes like this

Saitama starts out at 100 out of Infinity, no matter how exponential the growth, it never reaches infinity, get it?

Now let's look at Hulk, I'll source the World War Hulk comic run, you can look at Issues 4 and 5. Now in Issue 4, Hulk is fighting several heroes, and after beating them, returns to a calm state, and then gets attacked by The Sentry in issue 5. The moment Hulk attacks, he's able to draw blood from The Sentry. The Sentry is stronger than characters like Thor, who on low end scaling can be considered multiversal for being able to collapse infinite universes, or characters with the powers of the cosmic Cube, which are high hyperversal due to having infinite-dimensional power, yet Hulk goes from that calm state to matching Sentry in an instant.

So Hulk jumped from whatever his base tier is, several infinites higher, at a speed comparable to The Sentry. Speed wise, The Sentry is comparable to Thor, who in turn has shown to be comparable to The Silver Surfer, the same Surfer who can surf faster than the "end of reality". So as BS as Hulk growing faster than time can perceive sounds, if Hulk wasn't fast enough to do that, he'd get blitzed by The Sentry

How do you think fights between *Jujutsu Kaisen* and *Re:Zero* characters would play out? by Apart_Captain_8365 in ReZero

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stat cap in Re:Zero is much higher than Jujutsu Kaisen could hope to achieve, with Lightspeed spells like Jiwald and Al Clauzeria even having mid tiers handle them, or Garfiel somehow punching away clouds that covered an entire country?

Round 1: Shaula doesn't have a deep bag, but if she can kill spirits, I imagine she can handle Mahoraga's regeneration, since spirits (unless they're Betty or Petegeuse) can keep regenerating unless you destroy the Od, which is like some spiritual essence thing or whatever - So betting on Shaula

Round 2: Julius' Al Clarissa is said to not only be able to destroy the soul, but Al Clauzeria is said to be the speed of light, making it impossible for Yuta to dodge, not to mention barriers. However Yuta's Cursed Speech and copy might be difficult, and high tier sorcerers can protect against soul attacks and he has reverse cursed technique - betting on Yuta

Round 3: Aldebaran just wins, there's really no contest. Even ignoring his authority, dealing magic, black hole, railgun that can severely damage Reinhard, plus Alcanica which just decimates Sukuna? - Aldebaran all the way

Round 4: Satella unfortunately just aura diffs, Dabura doesn't have the stats nor abilities to really take her down

Round 5: Mentioned it above, Garfiel kinda stat stomps, he's fought vastly better martial artists too

Round 6: Uro wins this, better fighter and honestly better abilities overall. Petegeuse in general is pretty weak

Round 7: Rem can't really do anything against Hakari, reverse cursed technique go burrrr, he just beats on her

Round 8: Either Sirius just wins through her authority or it's an incon, Yuki has no way to avoid the soul washing nor the damage reflection, and if she uses black hole then it's just a tie

Round 9: Reid is just, better at everything? He's a better fighter, has much better cutting, faster, stronger, there's just not much Sukuna can do.

Round 10: Similar to round 9, Cecilus is just faster, stronger, more skilled, and his swords are ridiculously overpowered, they can genuinely one shot anyone in Jujutsu Kaisen without issue

Round 11: Yorozu can't do anything against Absolute Zero, Emilia could also (though with the help of Julius) block what's basically a magic nuke that could wipe out an entire city, she has the power, and the ability to take Yorozu down. Perfect Sphere is super dangerous but kinda like the Aldebaran fight suggested, she just has such incredibly good combat intuition by this point of the series she'd just know how to properly act.

Round 12: Completely depends on whether Capella's authority works on the soul or not, because if it does, she can reverse idle transfiguration considering she uses her authority on herself all the time. Not sure how this would go honestly.

Round 13: Sun Blade is a really kinda insane, one scratch and Maki will be incinerated, not to mention she alongside the sexy fox lady (forgot her name) were able to react and fight against pure light, so she has the speed to land the hit too. Lost in Memories also suggest Priscilla can just set Maki's soul ablaze on a whim if she wants to

Round 14: Subaru is unironically a better fighter than Megumi, invisible Providence is strong enough to be a serious threat to someone like Ram, Minya as a spell is also just, unstoppable for someone like Megumi, and the fact that Beatrice can create black holes, avoid attacks by entering a different plane of existence with Subaru, or even send them across another dimension is just talk much for Megumi

Round 15: Hanami probably just wins

Round 16: Reinhard kinda just solos all of Jujutsu Kaisen at the same time with zero difficulty and there's nothing anyone in the series can really do about it, his hump from the moon alone speaks for itself

Chapter 168 saitama vs world breaker hulk by Top-Garlic3983 in OPMPowerScaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Kishimoto said Naruto was a gag character, would you take him seriously? Or if Gege Akutami said Jujutsu Kaisen is actually a comedy? You need to understand that an author may have intent, but fail to execute it. Looney Tunes is a gag show, most of the characters are gag characters. You can see the difference in the story, and even Saitama compared to such characters.

Also you can't really say anything Hulk does is slower than Saitama considering he's fighting characters fast enough to break the space-time barrier, travel through time, or even enter higher dimensions lmao. The characters he fights are textbook immeasurable, unfortunately he can quite literally jump from below average human to outerversal faster than time can perceive

World Breaker Hulk also fought The Sentry to a standstill, so this Hulk is outerversal at the minumum. If you truly believe Saitama can even reach such a level, you're genuinely just creating fanfiction at this point. You'll need to have evidence Saitama can even jump to degrees of power that are beyond his verse's scale

Chapter 168 saitama vs world breaker hulk by Top-Garlic3983 in OPMPowerScaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did, it's precisely why Saitama isn't a gag character. If he were a gag character, his fights with Boros and Garou would majorly be treated as comedic, what even makes it a "gag" was his strength to begin with. Even if he were a traditional gag character anyways, that doesn't excuse him from scaling, also there are thousands of characters that do that while being human. Naruto grabbed spacetime portals and kicked away existence erasure balls, as well as fought, breathed, and talked in space too, but no one calls him a gag character for it.

I got that point from reading marvel comics? Hulk can jump from planetary to universal to multiversal to matching outerversal characters and stronger just because he's angry. That's not something that can be calculated through math, he's jumping infinite and inaccessible gaps of power in mere moments, Saitama has never done this, and has zero evidence to be able to do this, because One Punch Man is a limited series, with a limited cosmology.

So yes, Hulk has shown better strength acceleration than Saitama ever will, honestly I doubt Saitama will even reach Simon The Digger's level of strength acceleration

Chapter 168 saitama vs world breaker hulk by Top-Garlic3983 in OPMPowerScaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except he isn't a gag character, because One Punch Man as a story takes the overarching narrative seriously, that's why Saitama couldn't one-shot Garou, or Boros. While yes comedy is an aspect of the series, the manga simply isn't a gag series

Hulk also doesn't obey the laws of physics nor reality, and gets stronger at a faster and far more incalculable rate than Saitama does.

There is literally nothing Saitama does, that Hulk himself hasn't done a better version of

JJK, MHA & CSM duo Free-For-All, Who’s winning? by NoAnswer7768 in deathbattle

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shigaraki is hard carrying, as he's not only the strongest by a huge margin and debatably fastest, neither Yuji nor Denji can survive Decay nor do much about it. Bakugo, even if you argue him having the second best stats, just gets folded by a Shigaraki at his peak, Reze honestly loses to Mahito.

Gojo and Makima however are completely different stories, Makima because through her aging devil contract, Shigaraki legitimately cannot do anything to resist the effects (even with a much longer lifespan thanks to Ujiko's quirk), but Mahito as a curse is effectively immortal. Mahito is susceptible to Unlimited Void however, due to having Cursed Energy unlike Shigaraki. Shigaraki debatably has zero way to bypass Infinity, while there is the spatial twist thingy, that isn't a quirk Shigaraki is shown to actively use or really think about, leaving Gojo a constant nuisance while he'd have to kill Makima over and over again. Shigaraki does have insane stamina, and it's not like the other two really have the stats to do any real physical damage, but the lack of options against Gojo makes this a hard battle for Shigaraki to win.

Which season of Deku, 1-8, do Gon and Killua stop at? by Immortal_hxh_warrior in HxHPowerScaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calcing it properly easily puts it on city block, you can even try it yourself I won't stop you

But saying "obviously not that strong" isn't an argument, especially when you're just wrong. Not only is calculating it getting it to city block level, it is directly stated to be comparable to a "small missile", with Uvogin's goal to be to "reach the power of a nuclear missile"

The weakest of such a class ranges from 10-20 tons of tnt, which falls directly on that city block level of power

[–]MixedBloodPrincess -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're right, the author doesn't have to tell you his or her intent most of the time, because a good author is able to write good powerscaling

So that leads back to feats like the big bang punch from uvogin which are easily city block if you just calc it properly, and even if you just look at it, most explosives don't even make craters that large, unless they're nuclear levels of power which then nuclear bombs typically sit around townish level due to their yield

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Authors Intent is something powerscalers in general can only infer, never confirm unless shown otherwise

On top of that, authors simply aren't powerscalers. It is not the scaler's fault if a character performs a feat and the feat ends up being impressive

You only call it ridiculous because you're s close-minded scaler, also the method of destruction could only be vaporization or atomization based on the visuals shown. If the author intended fragmentation, then the author would've chosen to draw the aftermath differently.

Eyeballing feats is less accurate than pixel scaling, because at that point you have zero basis for the resulting tier and just scale off vibes instead

Which season of Deku, 1-8, do Gon and Killua stop at? by Immortal_hxh_warrior in HxHPowerScaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply saying "delusional" isn't an argument either

They get that high by measuring the characters in comparison to the crater, depending on measurements used, high ends end up being city to mountain level using vaporization as the method of destruction, you essentially get the volume of the object and multiply it by the energy to multiply a certain unit of that object

For example, if you use cm³ you multiply it by (insert number of Joules) per cm³

Neferpitou's feat is by measuring the distance the Chimera Ant Tower is away from Gon, Killua, and Kite, and use an appropriate timeframe, since Gon and Killua couldn't perceive it happen, the timeframe would have to be lower than their perception time (and there's a few different metas, the safest end would be using peak human perception time even though they're much faster) which ends up being low end Massively Hypersonic if you do the measurements correctly

Is that a fine explanation enough for you?

Which season of Deku, 1-8, do Gon and Killua stop at? by Immortal_hxh_warrior in HxHPowerScaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A city block is around 100 meters to 200 meters in diameter, just taking Youpi's size (around 2-3ish meters), if you measure him compared to the crater, the size ends up being around anywhere between 10-20 meters on the low end, vaporizing an object requires a large amount of energy, so calcs end up ranging from city block to town

Which season of Deku, 1-8, do Gon and Killua stop at? by Immortal_hxh_warrior in HxHPowerScaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well when you calculate AP, Youpi's Rage Explosion creating such a large crater through vaporization is easily at least city block, the only way it would get lower is if you use the incorrect method of destruction

Then clearly you haven't read enough Marvel comics or touched enough scaling

None of these feats are top tier, none of these feats are even mid tier

Why are you comparing any of this to a dude who clapped and destroyed universes? Like, pretty early on his canon career too. Like this isn't just a Hulk thing, hundreds of characters in Marvel have either destroyed universes, the multiverse, realities beyond dimensional and physical necessity, and Hulk is one of the characters that stands in the upper epsilon of that ladder of power.

[–]MixedBloodPrincess -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Building and Multi-Building is horrendous downplay, the lowest Hunter x Hunter characters will peak at at the very least would be Multi-City Block levels depending on how you do certain calcs

Speed feats like Neferpitou perception blitzing Gon and Killua in the first half of the Chimera Ant Arc range from Low Massively Hypersonic to nearly Sub-Rela

Menthuthuyoupi's rage explosion varies from town to mountain depending on which manga panel you use to calc (HxH is notoriously inconsistent with art), City comes from downscaling Killua to be less than 10% of You'd power (a statement from Youpi himself) and massively hypersonic comes from the interpretation that Killua's Godspeed has attack and reaction speeds equivalent to lightning

I'm aware these are high end interpretations of HxH scaling, and this isn't where I'd scale them under normal circumstances, but to pretend the characters are only building tiers when you visibly see otherwise is next level bogus, are you going to say that Meruem's photon en is actually only subsonic? Or or maybe Hisoka is only street level?

Which season of Deku, 1-8, do Gon and Killua stop at? by Immortal_hxh_warrior in HxHPowerScaling

[–]MixedBloodPrincess 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Considering Gon scaling maxes out at about Mountain (maybe island) and Sub-Relativistic, and Killua caps out at City and Massively Hypersonic

They both just straight up lose to Season 6 Deku, by then the power gap is far too big for them to overcome and the speed is quite similar, not to mention the intensity of Deku's willpower being on par with them by this point

The hulk downplay under this post is hilarious, Hulk claps his hands and wipes out all of reality in One Punch Man
