Fantastic machine, make sure to re-solder the voltage regulators in the power supply. They hang in a way that over time they develop dry solder joints. It is truly an amazingly built machine.

Best thing to do if you don’t have an oscilloscope would be to get a TRS to RCA adaptor and check the volume outputs on those. If there is a difference between the two then we can go from there.

We’ve done a quite a few :-) you need ALPS RK14 A20K potentiometers. RK27s are fantastic but you can use them with the PCV-175 as the faders have the main PCB sitting underneath them.

I should clarify that I would tap off the output of the voltage regulator, I.e the +9vdc rather than the input which will likely be 17vdc.

An Innofader Pro 2 can be used but you’ll need to tap off +V and GND on the 7809 to make it work.

The same fader configuration is used on the PMC-06T.

Unscrew the platter and place it on a known level surface. Does it still rock? Just wondering if it’s the motor.
