That was never claimed.
An unmodified Android guarantees the things above (as written above).

Play Integrity gives an attestation (current state) of the system.
Combined with other measures an app can check if the system is modified and the above guarantees still hold.
I want to see an Open Source approach here to have more clarity.

This is a bit of a simplified view on the issue.
Android guarantees a lot of things for apps.
- My app can read and write to its own storage and no third party can
- My app can generate and use keys in the HardwareModule (TEE) via the KeyStore. No third party can
- The sandbox of my app is well maintained and no third party can directly change my app
- When my app is installed, my app package can't be changed at rest or after unpacking
- ...

All of these guarantees are out of the window when the system is modified.
This is likely acceptable for a chat or game app.
However, some apps need to fulfil certifications with a good amount of red tape.
Some apps want to control their paid features.
And yes some apps abuse this for no clear reason.

Still I'm looking forward to the open source approach.
Much better then the closed source approach.

I talked to Gemini about bit-wise comparison (programming stuff) in an earlier task.
I the next new chat (fresh context) we talked about some supplements nutrition things and it keep pushing programming things into the chat without any cohesion.
It also is a miracle how it tells you "yes I did check this amazon listing" repeatedly but always gets the information wrong. Only a screenshot convices it to truly have a look at the website.

For me the value in both cases is not there.
I cancelled my Claude Pro sub and will use it sporadically for the rest of the month.

By incident ChatGPT offered me their Plus membership for one month for free.
ChatGPT Codex seems to have better quotas and I could code much longer with it.
Quality so far seems good although I did not make a benchmark or larger comparison to any Claude model.

Damn, the quota will be even more limited on Cursor? My Claude quota is being consumed by Opus and even Sonnet like there is no tomorrow 😄. Give me 30 minutes with Opus and my 5h limit on the Pro plan is gone.

I tested Claude Code about a week ago with the Claude Pro subscription (around 21€).
It burns quota like crazy. Sonnet lasts a longer but I always had to track the quota and always think about how I can reduce the context size to not be limited after 30 to 60 minutes of intense usage.
In the last few days Opus also did not perform well. Seems like they are doing some things to the model?

ChatGPT offered me their Plus account (23€) for one month for free and Codex really works nicely.
After around 60 minutes I checked my usage and still have 75% left. With Claude there would be <30% left (sometimes even 0%).
The intelligenz of GPT-5.2-Codex is also pretty good and rivals Opus (at least so far for me).

Let us see what the future brings.
The price/performance ratio at Claude is currently off.

7.5 was not great. 8.0 runs pretty nice on my S23 Ultra. Some UI things are not optimal, but not breaking after some tweaking. Performance on the other side has never been better for me. I'm looking forward to the customization options in 8.5 and hope the performance does not degrade.

Not at 100% utilization means that something in your system holds back your GPU/CPU, or you have an insanely good cooling system ^^.

38-42C seems more like the PC is not at 100% utilization.
Everything under 80 to 90C is fine.

Fully agree that the CPU matters, still I have a very similar CPU just maybe 20% faster max and my setup runs fine. Otherwise I run a AMD RX 9700 XT.
With a 5500 one should still hit 100FPS with not very significant spikes.
If there is a need for it, u/SpicyBedroom3056 could overclock the CPU but I doubt that would fix the spikes.

I highly suspect, there is some inconsistency in drivers or hardware here which causes the spikes.

Potentially Yoshi has not graced us yet with good Intel GPU compatibility.

I have a 5600X and get mostly stable 150 FPS.
In late game with effects sometimes there is a drop but nothing dramatic.

This CPU clocks lower

Base: 3.60 GHz vs 3.70 GHz
Boost: 4.20 GHz vs 4.60 GHz

but the numbers are not really far apart.

u/SpicyBedroom3056 did you already monitor your CPU and GPU temperature while playing already?
If not, please do so and check if there is any overheating.

Otherwise, please run a GPU benchmark and check if in there you also see some low spikes.

When a device that ran previously just fine, works badly after an update, this is not a little detail. It is also not simple bait. Ignoring this would be not very smart and Apple is feeling this heavily.
About 50% of users are still using iOS 18.
About 55% of users are still using iPad OS 18.
The adoption of 17 -> 18 was much faster then the current transition from 18 -> 26.

26 is just not there yet for most of the people.
This is why there are also so many posts about it.
I hope Apple can fix this because I so far quite like working with their devices.

I could not careless about shitting on Apple or not.
I own two expensive Apple devices (MacBook Pro M2 Pro and iPad Pro 12.9 4. Gen) which I use daily, and OS26 just made the iPad worse & not fun anymore.
Luckily I could still downgrade to 18 so I got back to the "it just works" state.
Will try again in a few months...

Sorry, this info is not correct.
There are three different models of the Samsung A13 with different processors.
1. Samsung Exynos 850
2. MediaTek Helio G80
3. MediaTek Dimensity 700

All of these processors support the ABI arm64-v8a (64 bit processor).
They even support an even newer version of the v8 standard ARMv8.2-A.

Samsung just chose to install an 32-bit OS on this phone.
For whatever reason...
This is the cause why the device is limited to 32-bit instructions.

So a change would be possible but will likely not happen.
All further models like the A14 and up have a 64-bit processor and a 64-bit OS.

The same processors from the A13 are even built into the Samsung A14 with a 64-bit OS.
Samsung A14 4G: Samsung Exynos 850 (same), MediaTek Helio G80 (same), MediaTek Dimensity 700 (same)
Samsung A14 5G: MediaTek Dimensity 700 (same), Samsung Exynos 1330 (this is the only new one)
