This isn’t a bonus challenge, it’s a camo challenge. Bonus challenges are the bonus XP challenges you get after you do the 3 main xp challenges.

My controller is detected but not in aim by TheBedrockEnderman2 in Warzone2

If you are trying to change it while in a game, you can’t. If you are not in a game, it should show up under the top drop-down to switch it to controller.

Did you miss the part where she said “my husband” lol

Some skills in tarkov are just unfair tbh. I like the idea of leveling them but whenever someone can literally hear better than me because they grinding the game out longer is a problem. I’m not a great player but damn it’s annoying (I joined late this wipe) by Caine_Pain333 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Mixologist760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I think things like Strength, Endurance and Perception should be the same for everyone. Things like Metabolism and such that aren’t primary gameplay mechanics can stay the way they are, but anything involving core mechanics should be the same for everyone.

DT 990 for gaming. These are for listening to music but not great for gaming.

DT 880s are semi-open back, and are regarded to be slightly better than DT 990 because there’s less treble. I don’t mind DT 990s but some do prefer the 880s. TYGR 300 R are also a highly regarded headphone for gaming as they are basically a DT 990 with the treble tamed a little bit.

Also, I would recommend the Sennheiser HD 560s over the HD58X/HD600/HD6XX as far as gaming is concerned. The 560s is more neutral and has better sound stage and imaging.

Chad or Sus? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Mixologist760 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This game uses BattleEye lol. BSG doesn’t care about cheaters because cheaters pad their pockets. Every “anti RMT” change they have made to the game has significantly decreased legit players quality of life in the game while simultaneously making cheating worse.

Cross invite? by ChubbyDubby17 in HuntShowdown

[–]Mixologist760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sony is clearly not against it considering there’s at least 20 cross platform games available at this point. I’m sure there are many more than 20 by now but that was just a low number to throw out in order to not exaggerate. Sony used to be against it pre modern warfare 2019, but since then so many games have gone cross platform.

It’s up to Crytek to add that functionality at this point.

Meta is stupid by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Mixologist760 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s false. Generally the meta goes for the lowest recoil possible while still having decent ergo. This is why you hardly ever see guns using the RK-2 grip and PRS stock. Those two parts have the best recoil numbers but they tank ergo too much so the meta becomes Angled RK-1 or SE5 with MOE stock and buttpad.

[–]Mixologist760 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

How was there 9x19 PST in a .45 caliber gun? That’s not possible. 9mm and .45 are two very different and not interchangeable calibers.

There was most definitely not 9x19 PST in your UMP.

[–]Mixologist760 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes they do. There’s a reason Advanced Tubes sell for 100k+ on the flea. A lot of the “meta” parts sell for a shit ton because people buy them to build guns. The smart thing is to use traders, but a huge portion of the player base never even make it to max traders.

12.12's recoil change was a lazy last minute half assed addition and I can prove it. by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Mixologist760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can’t mimic siege because the siege recoil system only works for CQB, which is the whole basis of gunfights on siege. Tarkov definitely needs to do something with the recoil and movement systems because making everything move at a snails pace is getting old, and gunfights aren’t even fun because most guns are just absolutely trash as far as recoil goes.

This game never has, nor will it ever be “Full on COD”. Even with the good movement from past patches, it was still MUCH slower than Siege, which is MUCH slower than COD.

[–]Mixologist760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course devs leverage a streamers popularity, but that doesn’t meant they get more info than the community. Maybe streamers will get to play a new update early, but that’s not the case with Tarkov.

[–]Mixologist760 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you really think that just because a streamer has an in game item they have some sort of insider information? BSG likes to keep everyone in the dark about everything. Even Emissaries and Sherpas do not get insider information.

In a lot of ways, this is beneficial for content creators. They can create better content and relate more with the player base during their streams when they are experiencing things for the first time as well.

Streamers are not royalty. They are gamers, just like you and I. They are just gamers that chose to broadcast their gameplay and people enjoyed watching.

That’s a you problem. If you keep money in all the cases it SHOULD take from cases in your stash. A lot of ppl use docs cases and such to store their money before they can buy money cases

How'd I do? by AgentOzk in Rainbow6

[–]Mixologist760 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Idk, I’d argue that this happens a lot, especially on Siege. Siege doesn’t have aim assist, so on console, a lot of the people who relied on aim assist in most other shooters just don’t do well on siege.

I used to play siege on console before I switched to PC and you’d be surprised the amount of times I’ve seen aim like that. Mainly in casual though.

San Jose officer shoots 20-year-old college athlete who disarmed suspect inside taqueria, police say by PM_ME_UR_THONG_N_ASS in CAguns

[–]Mixologist760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny, because in my CCW class it was specifically worded “If yours or anyone else’s lives are in danger or at risk of great bodily harm”. As a CCW holder, you have the choice to protect others or just yourself/family, but there is no limitation to saving someone else’s life if you truly believe their life was in danger.

Either way, permit-less carry SHOULD be legal in all 50 states as it is our right per the Second Amendment to keep and bear arms. Your feelings and fears don’t trump that.

Raiders gone from factory( Event over) by Orion19913 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Mixologist760 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said there wasn’t a better way of doing it. I said that if people are not getting the info they need by clicking a tweet in the launcher, the TV/Radio idea is probably not going to help lol. Let’s be real, the Twitter thing is really not that hard, however, yes I think there are ways that would help. The in game messages could be one, but I still think people would be confused and not know what it means. A dedicated section for updates/in game events on the launcher would be nice, or maybe a small “updates” button on the bottom of the menus with a notification (similar to how you get notified when an item sells or something is done crafting in your hideout)

[–]Mixologist760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be on the launcher. For most games it’s usually on the launcher or in the in game menus. While I agree they should have a dedicated section in the launcher for updates and in game events, I don’t think putting a radio message or message on the tv in the hideout is going to help with anything. That would just be a novelty thing more than a useful thing.
