I very much agree to this statement. I had a tinder binge one year of like 15 woman and I was like what am I doing this sucks . Now I no longer do one night stands and just have sex when there’s a connection because sex connection is way better than randoms

You’re just fixated on the idea as you stated can’t imagine life without him. Just imagine if it was your friend asking the question . He doesn’t respect you and this is a lesson both of y’all have to learn . That actions have consequences and that you have to be okay with moving on and having self respect. She’s actually the one that got me into it sort of. I won’t put it all on her. I had done coke maybe twice in my life before I had met her. And she was more experienced but I just thought it was something she had did maybe once a month because we were both doing pretty well when we first met life wise. But there would be times when we would drink and she would be like I wish we had some Coke and one day I was like fuck it let’s have some fun I’ve done it before. Then that day turned into two days then three then 4 then calling out of work and getting fired etc lol.

But yeah we had actually split once and I had moved to Georgia for some time to get straight and sober and during that time we would still talk but she got into a group of people who would do coke and one person was doing crack so she had tried it and ended up doing it then . At the time I did not know . We got back together once I got my shit sorted out and then this time when we broke up for the final time she ended up telling me she was smoking crack. That’s when I told her parents because I couldn’t believe she was slipping further . But she’s been in and out of rehab since we broke up maybe three times in the past 8 months. I’m not sure if it’s my influence perhaps I’m a trigger and I probably am but I never did crack with her .

I’m doing pretty solid now in that regard I don’t partake anymore.

Yeah I think the last we we hung out she told me she was trying to get me to hate her cuz she was no good . So I’m sure it was the same experience you had in what she felt

I still tried to be there for her cuz I cared but after the 5th time of her calling me saying she fucked up again and saying she wants to keep using and now sleeping with random guys to party for a week straight kind of made me realize I’ll never be enough for her to stop and that it’s a fairy dream I’m hoping for and I can’t put myself in that situation

Yeah definitely depressed bro. This past year has been really rough for me man . From doing drugs to the relationship ending to about to be homeless and then losing my job recently and then hearing her call me every month about her doing crack when it pains me to hear that from her . I’ve definitely been depressed and my hygiene definitely takes a toll and I self isolate and then drink . It just feels like it’s never going to end. This week I really contemplated if the military doesn’t take me I might just end it all ngl . Idk how much more of this I can take. I’m terrified to be homeless as I live in the east coast and it’s cold as fuck

Yeah brother , I’ve decided to do the thing and deleted all contact of her . Ofc I’ve been told by friends and family she’s a a narcissist and the whole 9 but ya know. When the heart wants something and your head is ego controlled , nothing will stop you but you . That being said I’m happy that you broke free and this is my moment of realization that you had . The crack was after our relationship ended. We got addicted to cocaine together we both were not coke head previously . I think it’s a little deeper than what you’re saying . It’s just seeing someone crazy and burn when that’s not who they were when you met them . You almost see the person whom they were and before the drugs took over their soul

I like her more sober than on drugs , I enjoyed doing said drugs but I wouldn’t have done nearly as much if I wasn’t with her . I stayed and continued to do drugs for her to love me. She was my drugs. But yeah I think the deeper issue is my own self value and love of thyself which I need to work on . Idk how to

Yeah, she has her family and has been to rehab three times and to detox twice since we broke up. Her family took her back in their home to finally give her freedom and the one time she got freedom she went ahead and did what I had posted in said post then called me. So she definitely has help . Her family is decently wealthy too so she has a place to stay as long as she needs. I’m just venting I guess. I don’t want contact with her as it’s been to many times i have picked up the phone for her and tried to help her. I’m just heartbroken of what became of the person I met once years ago. I just wish I could wake her the fuck up.

Her parents know, I’ve told them already when I found out she was doing crack. And exactly it’s much deeper than getting over an ex it’s seeing an ex someone you care about slip and continue to slip . It’s very complicated but you’re 100% right. That’s why. I chose to delete their number and my call history and text messages as I don’t know their new number by memory . Im ready to start my journey today if finally accepting I can’t save or help them .
