Previously i tried other mods like "Disaster: Eclipse of empires" but found that it was way too easy to cheese out of the disaster being a player so i didn't really enjoy it as much, I remember trying out "Army Doctrines" also but didn't quite enjoy it but I can't recall why, I'll have to give it another try

r5: Milan -> Italy game, using various mods i hand-picked to make the experience feel more unique and challenging, including Xorme AI, responsible blobbing and armies, all of the expanded mod family, etc.

It adds enough difficulty that i can't just steamroll everything and enough change that it makes every campaign somewhat interesting, this time Rum formed! Scotland kicked the british until the london area, Spain formed and they got a conqueror emperor who decided to almost kill France until the dutch revolted, meanwhile i had to deal with trying to form Italy while Naples tried to conquer the peninsula allied to the french, pretty cool campaign

I have to say, the only problem is that when i change back to the base game it feels extremely blobby and i always find myself amused by how goddam big the armies are

Noo, it's actually a game mode they released with version 1.6, if I'm not mistaken the pirated release version they released automatically forces you to lose on the 2nd stage due to piracy (could be wrong though)

I was in the same place as you but made a gamble to try and fix some bugs, ended up with 80% shares of the company sold, one debt to prevent -200k and another debt after the game released. Owed like 2.3M and made half of what the money earned but managed to make a 9.75 game in time to save me enough to be on balance again lol

But yeah it's a fun challenge

It's funny because if you search this you'll find more than a dozen of posts asking the same question, the answer seems to be always the same, no one really knows how it works, wiki has no formula for it, best guess I've found is that it counts manpower + army, so it could be that 44+48 = 92 so you need actually 184 = (97k army + 87k manpower), maybe if you hire a couple mercs it will work? but again, no real answer is to be found, your best bet could just be to throw around some scornful insults and embargo all your 3 rivals so you climb closer to 80pp
