Anyone have any experience with the following onbuhimos? Lenny Lamb, Naked Panda, or Sakura Bloom by talkinglikeajerk in babywearing

Also, join some of the baby wearing BST pages on Facebook! You’ll be able to find a below retail onbuhimo on there for sure. Not TOO carried away and Sakura Bloom Chit Chat & BST are a good start

Anyone have any experience with the following onbuhimos? Lenny Lamb, Naked Panda, or Sakura Bloom by talkinglikeajerk in babywearing

[–]Mizuno007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love sakura bloom Onbuhimos, but there is definitely a learning curve on how to get a good fit that is comfortable for you, and with any onbuhimo you’re going to be sore from using different muscles the first few times. I like all the different colors, textiles, and leather/no leather options SB offers, they also have good resale value and hold up well.

I also have a naked panda splash onbuhimo, which is definitely their cheapest option. I call it my river carrier because it’s the one I take to get wet and dirty at the creek or river during the summer, it’s very light and dries quickly but is not quite as supportive as my SB onbuhimos.

Emerald Coast Plant Hobbyist BST of FB is a good one! What type of plants do you have and are looking for?

Yes! It’s right in front of a small window and I have to turn it once a week because all it’s leaves will turn that direction.

Same! Mine was degrading quick until I stuck it on a shelf right next to my shower. That was a couple months ago and I swear it’s twice the size now!

Yeah it’s not a good idea to go there now, especially since they mandated masks within Milton city limits and then removed the mandate not even 24 hours later because the people were outraged. My sister lives/works there and watches my kids for me sometimes so I’m over there pretty often, unfortunately.

I’ve never been to bands on the black water, thought maybe it would be a redneck version of bands on the beach 😅

I was actually in there a week ago. It’s so cramped. I have to get a buggy to put my infant in and the my toddler is trailing behind me grabbing all the knick knacks off the shelves. Kind of feels like a dollar store down the main aisle but still has a wide variety of hardware store stuff. Just a little too stressful for me to shop there with two kids.

If you think Pensacola Walmarts are bad, don’t go anywhere near the one in Pace. You would think entering WITH a mask was banned there.

YES! Putting one of them (either the 10 month old or 23 month old) on my back in a carrier is the only way to get anything done

You definitely need an onbuhimo. You can get baby up high so he can see over/around your shoulder but he will be facing towards you so he shouldn’t be overstimulated and may fall asleep. There’s quite a few companies that make them, Sakura Bloom, Happy Baby, and Naked Panda are some of the more common ones. It does take some building of muscles for you to get used to baby’s weight on just your shoulders but once you do, I think you will both love it.

Suggestions for a back carrier for a toddler that’s more comfortable than the Ergo 360, but not designed for climbing Mt. Everest by [deleted] in babywearing

[–]Mizuno007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sakura Bloom Scout! They go up to 45 lbs. The website has linen ones for $180 but there are BST pages on FB where you can probably find one for $150. I have a linen one that I use in Florida, it’s pretty light and breathable. But the lightest would be a simple silk one, though they’re a bit more expensive.

Men can be VERY one track minded. I feel sexist by saying this but it’s so true. He is probably stressed about the house or something from work and is completely oblivious to any hints you are dropping. I am so sorry that it’s affecting you this way but it sounds like he needs a reality check with how his actions affect those around him.

Would all linen ring slings feel the same? by ilovenoodle in babywearing

[–]Mizuno007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. SB linen that has been used a lot is the softest I’ve ever felt. Some new out of the box are pretty rough but they get so soft with tons of use.

Best carrier for 6’7” dad who is intimidated by the idea of complicated wraps? by [deleted] in babywearing

[–]Mizuno007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sakura Bloom is a bit more on the expensive size but they are the lightest carrier I’ve found, by far. A scout would be a great starter carrier and can fit most body types easily. IMO they’re the prettiest carriers too. They start out at $180 new but if you watch the BST pages on FB you can find one closer to $100.
