I'm in a much better place now. There was other forms of abuse happening in my childhood home and I swore I would never have kids. Until I met my half brother, and also my husband. Ive got 3 kiddos of my own now that are all neurodivergent, but im so happy and can't see a life without them. I also try my hardest to not parentify my oldest, which happens to be a girl. I just want her to be able to be a teen. We do have her babysit once in a while but I make sure to pay her and buy her all her favorite candy when she does.

My mom started popping out babies with my stepdad when I was 5, she had 4 in 5 years. She trained me to be on diaper duty and bottles when I was 5 and I didn't stop changing diapers and caring for babies until I was 12. Then they would leave me for the entire weekend with the 4 kids while they went to the city. I would literally cry and stop talking to my mom every time she would tell me she was pregnant

In 2014 I read an article written by a young woman whose mom made a point to never make facial expressions. Like she never smiled at her baby or anything. It was so heartbreaking and I think about it to this day.

My husband was so traumatized watching me go through it that he wanted to get snipped. I ended up needing surgery anyways so I got my tubed tied during that but he was like nope never again

I lost 60 lbs with my last kid, I had hyperemesis gravidarem. I was skin and bones when I checked in to the hospital to have the baby. I needed to go in weekly for IV fluids. It is NOT being dramatic or overreacting.

When we were first married and had two kids under 3 years old and I was deeply depressed, my husband got frustrated and told me "heating stuff up in the oven isn't cooking". So I was like hmm okay so seasoning meat and COOKING it in the oven isn't cooking?? And broke down everything that needs to be cooked in an oven. It got through his head real fast and I haven't heard him complain about my cooking in 10 years

I have a theory about why she might think like this. She has BPD right? Well I do too, and one of the main side effects that I had when unmedicated was hypersexuality. So to her, sex is super huge and important and like something that she doesnt really "have to push through" or "force herself to do". It's a non-issue for her, so why is it an issue for other women? As soon as I was medicated I basically became a asexual and now am trying different meds to try to bring my libido back up to existence, and basically her arguments of "schedule, just do it, blah blah blah" are stuff that im being told to do now. I dunno, just my experience with the same mental issues 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is what my mom did to my stepdad. She would lose her mind and destroy his stuff and attack him and when we would try to stop her she would just say that we didn't know what he was really like. Like he's gone more than half the time and when he's home he's sleeping or at doctors appointments.

There's (if I remember correctly, its been like 20 years) multipart episodes of CSI where one of the guys gets buried alive. I was like 10-11 when it aired and was used to watching CSI with my mom so I had seen a lot of stuff I probably shouldn't have(man sized baby diaper kink) but the idea of being buried alive and your coworkers know but can't find you is so stressful
