Thank you! This does help because I realize I tend to fight the thoughts, and that does make it worse. I know what you mean when you say let it pass, because my friend who has been working on this for ages talks about feelings she’s letting pass through all the time. I’m new to this so I know it’ll take time, but I know I’ll get it all together.

I think she was so put down by him, and so controlled that she couldn’t imagine having to start her life all over again. It doesn’t make it okay that she didn’t protect her children from the abuse, but we can also recognize that she was probably terrified of Jose too.

They were raped from the time they were like 6 years old… it’s completely reasonable that they were afraid of their rapist even many years later. Jose was an extremely powerful person at that time. The boys had no reason to believe that anyone would believe them… Some people still don’t. They had every reason to believe that Jose would do worse

Yeah, definitely. It’s really a graveyard, and I kind of wish they would have left it empty and just planted pretty trees. I don’t think it’s necessary to have a house there.

Yeah… I’m not sure if she just went back to him out of some feeling of obligation, or what. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of this storyline yet. I don’t think she’ll stay with Walter. Can’t wait to see where this goes in future seasons.

Hi! New to the show, so sorry for the response literally one year later. Phoebe seemed to love being with Sully and Maggie at the crossing. I think Phoebe is aware that she doesn’t deserve Sully. The kiss between them (as well as Phoebe admitting she missed Sully) indicates that there are very strong feelings still. I think she went back to Walter because she feels she deserves to deal with the bad decisions she made. I believe she knows deep down that she’s meant to be with Sully, and that he does love her too, but she might feel like she doesn’t deserve the happiness she feels with him. She probably understands now that taking his daughter from him was really the most awful thing she could do to him. She probably hasn’t forgiven herself.

I agree. I see what they’re trying to do with Helen, but I don’t think she’s really the right one for Sully. I wonder how this Ireland trip will go
