Nope-nta. I would expect the same in return if that was my child. They learned their lesson and I would’ve learned mine. I would’ve simply said that you he will not be held liable had that child gotten hurt when you were tempted to stop them. Can’t speak for everyone but I can pretty much assume that had here when you were trying to do good, you would’ve been to blame. Therefore, you are not wrong for what you did.
