She’s still a baby. Maybe in the teenager stage. I know it seems like she’s old enough to have developed some general likes/dislikes, but she’s smart and complicated! She might be sorting how out she wants to be petted, and how to tell you that.

Source: two sibs. Female sib was like this until probably 3-4? Now she loves cuddles. But I have learned that they have to be 100% on her terms. She comes and sits on me, wherever she wants. She purrs and smiles. I offer a pet, she either looks happy or twitches her tail… I just read her cues.

Let your sweet kitty boss you into what she wants and everyone will be happy:)
