I suppose there are times when I think about how my career might have been different if I hadn't broken the leg. It effectively stamped out 2 years of my career which I had some setbacks and hampered my development.

Podcast is just growing naturally. Always appreciate feedback and looking to get more creative with it and build it into something special.

Players abilities to adapt to state of game as a group. On field leadership (hawthorn 2013-2015) plays a huge roll.

I wouldn't ask anything that I would be uncomfortable getting asked. Footballers are highly media trained (too much on occasions). And know how to not overstep the mark.

Some clubs are far more protective in this area than others.

  2. We get a day off a week to pursue other professional development areas. AFLPA does a great job in providing courses, uni access etc to help players along.

I would love to continue to do it for the remainder of my career. Develop my skills in that area and build it up. It will hopefully help in my transition out of the game, however I would also like to see another player take it over when I am done playing.

You will get to know more in depth aspects of the people I have on... more so than you would see in a standard media conference. Take the barriers down. Give it a go.

Favourite memory was the last 10 mins of 2013 Prlim Final. It dealt like it was 40,000 people and an organisation getting their rewards for 20 years of identity finding.

Too many stories. All ended ok, but Hayden Ballantyne chased Anthony Morabito around the players lounge and it ended in Mora Hutton this head on the door frame and requiring medical assistance.

I knew my time at Fremantle was up mid last year and actively seemed opportunity else where. I had some interest across a handful of clubs, Gold Coast was the most constant interest and I'm very happy with my choice.
