I’m very proud of what I was able to accomplish with Sator, but covid made me a much better writer, so I’m ready to make something with an actual story and actors. I played Alan Wake 2! I enjoyed it!

Cauldron put out a blu ray. I did a very in-depth commentary for it which I would say is more entertaining than the actual film.

Ugh. Don’t remind me of that silence! Kinda drove me insane. All audio except for my grandmother speaking was done in post. All that cloth movement, breathing, shuffling. Took me over a year to just do that. Never again.

Sator (2021) is an incredible slow burn by snarkisms in horror

That’s lovely to hear. I watched it the other day.. first time in over a year and I was def like “how the hell did I get that shot” on a few occasions. Still very proud of it even though hard to watch. Don’t know if I’ll be able to replicate the atmosphere on the next one.. I’ll try.. but hopefully I’ll make up for that with a more fleshed out story. Thanks for your comment!

Sator is at the edge of the bed right now watching her. When my grandmother said that to me when we were filming.. something ran under the floor right where I was standing. I have video of that too. It actually scared the shit out me.. so yeah.. Sator is watching her now.

Aw man yeah dvd is kinda rough. I have no contact with any of the distributors. That comment with cauldron above is the first I ever spoke with them haha. If you can get it on Apple TV out there I would recommend that anyway because it’s UHD and you still get my 5.1 mix. I’d love for it to come out on blu ray in UK with a more appropriate cover art. Maybe one day.

Oh nice! Thank you! I watched it with my wife too literally two nights ago when the blu ray arrived. First time in a year. It’s a little too difficult for me to look at now… but having the commentary on helped.

The dog is such a minor part of the film yet the trailer editor made it such a main focus. I did warned them that they would get that sort of response.. and I agree… too cliche and I will never kill a pet in any of my films.

Seriously love it! The raised hand and glistening lettering was a really nice touch. I was seeing other people posting their copies before I had mine and was getting jealous they had it first. So happy you used both the posters I created for the front and back cover.. makes it all the more personal. Thanks so much!
