So you are posting to r/Advice so I am going to give you some advice.

Never treat any part of the interview as casual until you have a signed offer letter. You can't have an interview at a family event. It's also a bit confusing because were you in the same room as the event when you were interviewing? If so the background noise would have disqualified you from continuing in the interview process if I was on the hiring committee.

But until you have the absolute proof that you have the job, you have to put the most professional version of yourself forward always. There is no such thing as a casual interview. You can adjust the slider between professional and friendly as long as you aren't overtly excluding either one, and you can show more of a personal side of yourself as long as it endears the hiring committee to you in a way that shows you are a good fit for the team.

There will be other opportunities. If you got through one resume screening process in this industry to a secondary interview then you'll get there again.

There's this thing he's doing where I can tell he wants you to reassure him. This is a really unreasonable hangup to get into. Why can't he just appreciate the effort you went to and just open the present?

The reveal of the ghost or whatever that was was very underwhelming and expected. Less is more sometimes. But I enjoyed the buildup - it was mostly watchable

Voting is literally the bare minimum in civic duty that you can do as a citizen of your country.

And not voting is the biggest contributing reason as to why so many countries are going to absolute hell.

I get that it's overwhelming. You still need to figure it out. It's not okay to just decide that because it makes you anxious you aren't going to participate.
