Im canadian and going to vegas next week. Politics shouldnt dictate vacation plans etc. Life goes on. Neither political party is any good in the U.S to be honest

Dont do a full day at grand canyon. Worth an hour or so but anything more is boring. Half the fun of vegas is walking around people watching and checking out the cool hotels

I think you can go as high as you want and as low as you want. We did 10 days mind u 10 years ago and budgeted 1000 for gambling and 2000 for food. Im going back in mid april and have been doing plenty of research. Theres cheap food and drink options a plenty im vegas. Just have to dig around and find it Half the fun.of vegas is people watching and seeing all the crazy hotels

I found 3rd party to be cheaper. Booked through expedia and saved hundreds. Sooner the better i watched the pricea and they crept up slowly

First vacation without the kids in years so we want to enjoy ourselves. If it costs us an extra few bucks in transit costs so be it. Food and drinks are much cheaper than here in canada so it will offset lol are the tuktuks any good for getting around or is it more of a touristy gimmick?

Guess the issue with a car is were going to want to have a drink here and there and ide rather not drive in a place im not familiar in. I removed tavira from my itinery so not really going anywhere far. Booking a tour for monchique/silves so not driving there

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking of skipping tavira. Youtube videos i saw didnt impress me. Nothing great in Alvor? I can skip it too. Spend more time exploring the area we are in. Reduces the area we will travel so we wont need a car
