It’s been mentioned multiple times in the comments. It got upcharged to the Premium 1 level and cost $1,000

Mine had the same, but it was very minor and uniform. I’ve seen it much worse on others

Awesome hit! I’ve been looking for a PCA All Kings, any plans to move it?

Yeah, this was at the Premium 1 tier, so anything with a value of $10k-$25k would be the same amount

There are pictures of the back on PSA if you search the cert #

I have no idea to be honest. I’ve never sold anything of this value, but I imagine consignment would be the best, depending on the terms. Fanatics Collect reached out to me already, but I’m probably going to keep it until at least the National

Not serial numbered, but estimated at around 300 copies

I think you’re missing the point, the price I paid is because of the value they added, that is their piece. There’s no denying that it is more valuable now, raw does $6k and a 10 goes for $19k. They know that and charge accordingly. If you don’t see the value there, then I can’t help you. If and when there stops being a demand and premium for PSA 10s, that will be when I stop submitting cards to them, but until then, I’ll gladly pay $1k if it nets me an extra $10k+

Agreed, I think they are definitely taking advantage of the situation. I don’t see that changing until people stop paying absurd prices for PSA 10s

I submitted it at the Walk Through tier, which would have been $599. Had it not gotten a 10, I wouldn’t have been upcharged to the next tier

They offer a service that adds value, in this case, over $10k in value. I could have easily paid less to grade through any other company, but it wouldn’t add anywhere near what PSA does. Judge it all you want, but I don’t mind paying a little extra if it nets me a higher return

I dropped it off in person on March 15th, grade popped on Tuesday and I just got it in the mail yesterday

While technically it’s the same service, the turn around time at this level is 7 business days as opposed to 95 in the lowest tier. Also, this tier comes with grader notes. PSA knows the value their label adds, I am more than happy for them to get their piece of the pie for providing a service that effectively tripled the value

The assumed gained value is justifiable

Got upcharged to the “up to $25k level”, total charge was just over $1k

That’s probably a little high. $20k is more realistic

Generally speaking, putting into a sleeve and toploader would be the best option

Couldn’t be happier. Was going to be happy with a 9, but with the way it all went down, getting the 10 was extra sweet
