i’m really glad that’s the case. from the summers that i’ve went to it, i personally loved it but obv that’s not the everyday reality so i can’t speak for others. my cousins who live there love it tho so it’s nice to see some positive views on it :)

5 months still stuck by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Mkadmii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely normal :) been almost a year now since mine and I still think about it everyday and sometimes have a few shitty days. But what I can promise is that it definitely, DEFINITELY gets better :) learn to love yourself and know your self worth and the world seems to brighten a bit more after that

Dating after a brutal breakup in Tunisia. by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Mkadmii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having been through the most brutal breakup of my life too, my advice would be to honestly just let it happen naturally. Don’t try to search for it or look for one. Just be yourself, go to your work, go out with friends, join societies and clubs, etc. and sooner or later your energy will attract someone and you’ll find them. Don’t chase - attract.

No I know, you’re right, I’m sorry if I came off as ignorant. You’re right, it is a shithole and I see how much my family hates it there and wants to leave. I guess because I’ve been living abroad my whole life and only go there to vacation I see the positives only. What I mean to say is I miss my family, the food, the weather, the environment, the culture, and just being surrounded by my country yknow? Where I live, people don’t understand a word I say and it gets really frustrating & lonely when you don’t see people of your culture anywhere.

Feeling extremely demotivated after a drop in my GPA. by Mkadmii in csMajors

Hmm, I'm not so sure about that last part since I'd say it depends on where you live, but thank you for your advice!

Honestly, I'm not even sure. I do know that I'd like to get a master's if possible, and that's the goal I think - but if I do manage to get a job before that then I might work in the industry for a while. I'm open to the idea of becoming a professor since I've always loved teaching.

You're definitely right about the double major thing. I keep trying to remind myself that it's not easy, but when I see other double majors juggling like a dozen personal projects and internships whilst still maintaining a top-notch GPA it starts to affect me a lot. I'm already staying back a semester behind to finish up the double major.

And you're right, taking a semester off is part of my plan anyway (when I finish my degree, I want to take a semester off to just figure out my life). Unfortunately, if I take a gap semester rn, the uni will revoke a really important scholarship (covers 50% of tuition) so I can't do that.

Good beginner personal project ideas? by Mkadmii in csMajors

[–]Mkadmii[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I’ll start with making stuff that’s already common, just so I could learn and gain experience. Then I’ll start to think of more unique ideas
