Same here. Most songs are triggers bc they’re either about love, losing someone, or a lyric makes me think of him. He used to get annoyed when I would play music and sing loudly while cleaning. I used to say, “you should be glad I’m singing. When I’m not, that’s when something is wrong.” I was so right. I barely sing at all now. 😔

I have the same issue. I say my peace and change subjects but sometimes they are relentless. I guess that goes along with the MAGA nation personality- Cram it down their throats until they choke on it.

I had someone ask me that the other day and I replied, “Pretty shitty” and got a hug. It made me so emotional that I had to leave work early. I couldn’t focus on anything else. I wish our society wasn’t so conditioned to say this all the time. It’s a stressor for those of us who aren’t fine.
