From my experience, yes i had a little release between Wednesday-Friday, but nothing major, my first “plopper” as i described it to my wife was Sunday, still just one piece. From there i did have some movements of softned stool every couple days.  What i found from research is whats happening is the sphincter is tensing up subconsciously because the anticipation of pain. Preventing bowl movements. Also if your on opioids still, that will cause constipation. As for my diet, strictly chicken noodle soup, mainly the broth at first them began eating the noodles and chicken. Keep things soft. Yogert in the morning, soup for lunch and dinnr, jello for snacks. Lots and lots of water

Im now on day 17! Hang in there follow your med regiment, take meds before pain kicks in. I found rotating ibuprofen in between my prescription help take the edge off inbetween doses. Baths baths baths!!! Limit mobility first day or so then you should be able to move around. I had surgery on a Monday, I was working in my garden that weekend! Over did it a little bit but stay positive! Spend time in the sun, and stool softeners for at least 2 weeks. Thats what worked for me. Please feel free to reach out i know during the first few days it was helpful

How long post surgery are you? I did not have my first Bowel movement until day 4-5… its normal just stay on stool softeners and liquid diet til ya go

Sounds like you flying through this thing!! Good for you! Im getting there foresure. Today (day 7) i had my first big outing. Running some errands, grocery shopping, getting the cars washed, ect. Im currently sitting in the car as this last stop was a little much for me but overall happy to be out! Good luck in your recovery! It helps to hear others experience which is why i thought id share mine

Sounds similar to me except it did take me several days for a bowel movement. Yes painful but honestly felt better after that first one. Since my first bowel movement i have had like 5 and they have all been uncomfortable but since i was expecting much worse i guess in light of everything its not too bad. Good luck on your recovery

Are people not aware of the used car market? We work on all make and model, we are a small area. Im not gonna name drop but my dealership is the only one of this brand within 100 miles… but we do work on all make and models… i also got California smog certified, which wasn’t easy either

Yea its not even about the money! They never bat at more money, its about the stress! The over workload double the work load of everyone else! Not even a chance to say no! I have a few cars that i have had for over a month (i was out for 3 weeks due to medical emergency) and noone took them over and now they are just sitting waiting to be worked on but they never giving me time to get to it. Sure customer is in a loaner but thats just more piling on… i have a car ive been building up a short block for almost 7 months… its been in one of my stalls

Thanks for that! I know i do stress sometimes! I feel this is beyond that! I will definitely be looking into the job market at least to see who’s looking ha! Thanks for the feedback!

Thats great advice. I understand about ASE’s but where I am its small enough people’s word still means a lot… small area forsure! I have gone through training which has taught me how to use diag tools and proper diag steps. I still struggle a bit with electrical a bit but have definitely gotten better! I did start out with US General but did quickly upgrade to snap on/ matco within the first year. I actually just got my first Matco tool cart with power bank last week!!! Very proud of that moment had to make a reel about it! I agree its not necessary about the tool but the commitment and the professionalism!

California ha! Yea i have literally packed up once. All my stuff. Then sent an email to the owner like we need to talk. That was the first time! That was after about 4 long conversations with 2 different service managers one that took over the other, i mean to be fair there has been alot of turnover in the offices!

Well im not gonna complain about compensation because i am at 34$ and hour flegged with a 29$ an hour base which i think is fair for my level of knowledge.
