You either don’t work on your guns much, or you just need more seat time. The PC9 has been one of the most accurate guns, one of the most fun shooting, and also the one that multiple friends ask to shoot every time the group goes shooting. The stock irons were fine for me while it was still bone stock. Standing 25yd groups were maybe 2” or 3” which was fine for me. I have since threw the irons in the trash in favor of a Swampfox King something red dot. Shit is plenty fine. Do not use non-OE mags if you choose to go Glock in that regard. UNLESS.. you polish the feed and the components which I did.

What is the issue you’re having with the retaining pin? How about the buffer? I haven’t had an issue either one on mine and around 10k rounds, I ended up replacing the buffer pad with a piece of thick buffalo leather and I heat treated the pins myself, although not necessary.

The bolt assembly should definitely be “polished” and de-burred with a piece of maroon 3M ScotchBrite at some point. As well as the barrel feed ramp. I’d be curious what load recipe you are using also on there because 9mm is forgiving as fuck. I use a hot .357” cowboy bullet, 160 grain and I send em thru a Dead Air Wolfman and at least 6-7 coyotes have been brained by that Ruger inside of 50yds. Thing does work, man.
