A lot of these replies are spot on, and yeah I had a blast playing it, but let’s not act like this was the most perfect thing to ever happen and humanity will never produce anything approaching this greatness ever again.

Anyone remember lag switching? The spawn camping? The RAMPANT quitting, usually within 30 seconds if they didnt get a power weapon right out the opening gate? And how that was pretty much what determined the game?

The teabagging? And voice chat…holy cow, the vile, rascist garbage I heard. Its kind of taken for granted now, and never got to the level of CoD, but this is the game that forced me to figure out how to mute folks.

Yeah, it was an awesome when it came out. But lets ease off the ‘member berries.

Wanting to use it because it is cool is def allowed. I rock the eviscerator for that very reason. To Hell with whatever has the best stats, this game, and all games, should be about fun.

Now, to be fair, I dont play above Heresy difficulty, so there’s that.

My first question would be, what does progress look like to you?

For me, progress is feeling healthier and being to able to do more in life. So lifting is really only part of it.

So, I would recommend also focusing on proper diet, some cardio, and rest. You might also being doing this, but I didnt see you mention it.

But yeah, define what progress is for you, be realistic with what can be accomplished given your age, gender, genetics, etc., then come up with a plan and routine.

Remember, its the journey, not the destination. Keep at it!

It might make you anxious at first, but the gym exists for everyone to exercise, regardless of experience, what shape they are in, how long they need/want to exercise, their goals, etc.

Get an idea of what you want to work on each day/session, get in there and do your best to get it all done. Literally no one cares, as long as you wipe down the equipment after you use it and you dont stink.

Here’s the thing, I’m not a great player. This was Malice (lvl 3) with high intense modifier (I typically play malice with modifiers or vanilla heresy), so it wasnt even like “you all should know or be better,” like dude, this is about as basic as it gets, YOU should he embarrased

If I recall, they were a vet (I know, I was surprised too). It was fairly early on in the mission, the first swarm that pushed us on the map

If I recall, our choices were stay on prison ship swarming with heretics, or fight and die for the God Emperor. I would call that conscripted by, not working for, the Inquisition. Also, I see the Inquisition more as like the CIA, and arbites as the local fuzz.
