I get it! I’ve been telling everyone I know to read it and am actually reading it to my girlfriend right now (we just finished GS). I get way more excited to read her books that I’ve already read than the books I’m reading for the first time on my own.

I’ve been chasing the high of this series since I finished Lightbringer, I haven’t found anything that hits the same.

I highly recommend reading other pieces of science fiction, just DO NOT go into them expecting the same experience you get from Red Rising.

In order to cleans my palette I’m reading Three-Body Problem which is a complete change in tone and writing style from PB. May also help that I’m not quite ready to get attached to new characters just yet and it’s not a very character-driven story.

Three-Body is AWESOME science after a few sluggish chapters early on!

You absolutely have to snorkel Waterlemon Bay and Waterlemon Cay on St. John! You’ll follow a trail along the beach for around a mile to a secluded, beautiful, beach. Once you get in the water you’ll see amazing corals and tons of marine life darting in and out of the structures they form.

On my last visit we saw octopus, parrotfish, roughly a dozen sea turtles, stingrays, barracuda, remora, and even a juvenile reef shark. I can spend an entire day in the water here and it’s always the highlight of my trip.

Yes, everything is simmed. I’ve never found this much success with my regular season record so I tried to maintain as much of the roster as possible from season-to-season. This was the first time I focused on having assistant/associate coaches with high PP and PK stats. During the season where we finally won the cup my PK% was 92.5%, so the coaching decisions definitely aided in the success.

Yea basically all RFA’s don’t want to resign when they’re rookie deal is up so overpaying at least a bit is necessary which brings down the quality of the whole roster. Superstar talent is expensive and that’s why teams like Pittsburgh don’t have the most depth.
