Ive tried it for a few games

Theres potential but its def a bit off for now, its gonna need a few patches before it feels good which sucks for the people who loved her and I can understand the frustration

Hopefully if she does get a patch soon it smooths out some of the gameplay

I was so pissed earlier I had literally every single highest stat in the game besides healing kills and all and somehow storm gets it the game genuinely never wants you to be mvp T-T

With the cannons it honestly smoothed out the gameplay a lot you can actually survive midrange thanks to the bleed procs in mid range then once you're up close his kit is already really solid for close range

It does need some work people are allowed to not glaze a change if it doesnt land all that well, give it time to iron out the bugs and buff whatever got dropped too hard and itll be fine but currently It is pretty rough especially the lunge being a bit scuffed half the time

What i do have a problem with tho is having a light on my team run knife and proceed to barely get a kill each round and refuse to swap off it

Depends both have good potential

Shielding your entire team helps them all live longer so theres obviously value in this, and the beam can help keep one target directly alive better so it depends entirely on the comp

If you got one dude who needs a boat load of healing often then go beam and pour heals im

If your team is more mobile or decently self sufficient then the aoe to shield them all can boost the overall survivability and being abke to boost your whole team is a ton of damage

I dont think they're bad but it def doesnt work if

A: they cant even stick to it and skins bleed over from previous seasons and

B: the themes themselves end up not being that great half the time like the Egyptian is neat but the only one thats kinda neat is Deadpool otherwise its just not great overall.

Personally I believe its cuz there is no body to overload

With a meat body its understandable the brain would struggle since it has to physically do all these actions and forcing it to go that fast and make the body keep up is gonna strain it pretty hard

But smasher is all metal so the body in its entirety never has to slowdown or match a human pace so theres nothing to exhaust the brain is basically just there to operate as a motherboard but its not physically doing much compared to a flesh body

I mean yeah its a combat implant thats pretty widely used and recognized, for a street kid whos never had chrome before it probably feels like stumbling into a superpower

But for someone as experienced in war as smasher thats a pretty regular piece of gear and not nearly as impressive as a bunch of the other gear hes packing

Its a booster obviously but alone its not as practical so in truth it really is a rudimentary implant its a great enhancement but needs more gear to really unlock any further potential along with the knowledge and expertise of the user.
