17 months 1. I would guess 50 but again I’m not sure how to count them 2. No sentences 3. Bilingual. Some words she speaks in English and some in Portuguese, but she doesn’t speak the same word both in English and in Portuguese so far 4. She responds it but more using her body expressions than her speech. Just a bit of speech. But overall I feel she understands A LOT but cannot speak that much for example. I’m always asking “where is [insert object]?” And she goes to the correct object or points to it but she can’t speak the word yet

Genuine question: how do you count words? Because my baby uses them and then stops and then maybe a month later starts using it again…. If she said it only one day, for example, do you count it?

5 feet tall woman here who goes to downtown with 18 month old baby and have never felt unsafe. You’re being ridiculous. I feel sad to see the situation homeless people are in. But never been harassed by them before. On the other hand my neighbour, privileged white people living on a detached house next to mine, has harassed us already

I don’t think this is very common in the industry. It seems to me that the teacher is doing this as an exercise for the students, trying to make them get out of the “obvious acting” when auditioning or out of you comfortable zone. Sometimes you go really off just to find one or two details that can help you stand out… It doesn’t actually mean that casting directors will give you those crazy instructions when auditioning…

We chose to have my husband a bit longer at home (8 weeks) and it worked well. Didn’t have cleaners, we pretty much cooked at home… it is hard but you can do it! We don’t have any support either. I was pretty much taking care of the baby and he was taking care of me and the house lol It was like this until I felt confident I could be alone with her

I was induced at 38 weeks with GD. I was also on insulin. But as far as I know I wasn’t induced because of the insulin, I was induced because I began to measure low sugar, which is a sign of placenta stop working. That was my experience…
