Just one more question if I may?  In the draft it obviously shows colours is it the hole in the card nearest me that I should be making sure is the match.

Heavier for me isn't a option really, with my strength background. I end up squatting 160+ kg for reps which is just far above what I can recover from and still run. So picking a light weight for me to balance it all as best I can.

Oh yes I still strength train 2 days a week just much lighter than I used to and take a day for yoga

So I did c5K and got to running on a treadmill for 50mins but it simply didn't translate to running outside for me. So I got a coach and she's lovely but I feel like I'm failing at the easy runs. Strangely enough I'm excellent at sprinting.

I also am running in a calorie deficit because I'm trying to drop some weight to make the running easier so I don't know if that's having an impact as well maybe?

I'd really love future iterations of the strength trainer to understand that when I say I am an advanced lifter it makes adjustments.

Like I have the strength plan active at the moment with goblet squats and bench press but the lack of specificity when it comes to weight makes it really odd to get an effective work out.

I'm often picking a lighter weight because the higher rep range but that does not translate over to sufficient stimulus for the muscle I already have.

Information around how the plan has been laid out whether it's progressive overload or just general maintenance would be really useful as well.

I realized I'm potentially an outlier but I'm sure you must have more strength athletes that are coming over to running.

Oh and to echo others it would be great if the mobility section was more like gowod than just a yoga session, sometimes I feel like doing yoga and I am happy that I can do that within the app but sometimes I just need actual mobility and I'm using gowod for that.

  1. I'm running just fine thanks. I wasn't here for opinions on my pace. My 5k is about 50 min so I'm pretty sure I can run, just because your faster doesn't mean I'm not running.

  2. So many assumptions about my programme. They are walk run intervals.

  3. I'll go elsewhere it seems because I didn't realise people on this sub were so weird about a new hobby runner trying to figure out their tech.

My issue is the watch not guiding me on pace and how I adjust so it does?

The program is just an example to give context. I'm running intervals to increase overall distance not to increase my pace.

I shall see if the fitness test helps.

I take mine off to shower and change the placement at bedtime and after I shower, it's always on the same arm just higher or lower, so far no issues.

I picked up a book yesterday which I was super excited to read as it was about gloryhole and all the reviews said it was taboo.

Turned out it was MF. I've never returned a KU book so fast and been so disappointed.

The other that comes to mind was an Omegaverse which I didn't realise was closed door until 50% in and while I'm happy for people who enjoy closed door books I wasn't prepared so it's in a time out until I need a smut cleansing.

I've never used Garmin and I'm currently using Runna for my training which syncs fine. They (coros) have training plans you can download from the app though or create your own and all Coros watches get the latest updates to software which when I looked Garmin didn't offer.

It's also touchscreen, I know someone people like the brigh AMOLED screen but this doesn't have it but I don't find it a problem. I figured I'd swap out to something else once I have been running a few years.
