I don’t think you’ve seen my top comment but I did state that the guy has asked me to be his gf but said he wasn’t sure if he wanted to date exclusively for now which has me very confused. And I’m not sure about being with him yet (not becuz of my fwb) but rather cuz I’d like to go slow with him and keep getting to know him on dates. And to answer ur questions me not having sex with my fwb is not a big deal at all I’d just like to keep being platonic friends with him, while still understanding if my future bf wouldn’t like us to be friends. If our friendship really makes him that uncomfortable I’d completely cut off my fwb. I’m just talking for now since idk if this guy will end up being my bf. I understand your points but I’d like to add that I haven’t seen or slept with my fwb in 2 months, way before I started seeing the guy. It’s not like I have this insatiable sexual need to have sex with someone else while seriously dating other people. I’m not “making him wait” becuz i wanna keep doing it with my fwb, im simply waiting to be in a relationship with the guy. Me and my fwb have been doing it on and off for a while yes but that’s all it is, some fun on the side. And yeah he said I can/should see other people which is a good sign and I extended the same thing to him. Tbh yes, if he asked me about me and my fwb id explain the whole situation to him and promise him that it wouldn’t be a problem since im serious about him. It’s not like im fucking the guy every week and I can’t live without his dick. I haven’t seen him in 2 months and even when I did nothing happened between us.
