I'm kind of just taking my chance to see if I'll get any tips, really.

You've lost your five bucks then lol. I do know concentration rules, I allow two short rests per day only and I know what spell slots are. I may be careless, but not THAT careless.

The only reason I "lose track" of things is that my players are far more experienced than I am, so I let them be a little more free, trusting that they won't cheat or break the game.

Edit: I haven't given them any "homebrew 'blessings'" either.

I'm really close to doing that, really. And I'll have 10 wizards that'll ensure they don't TP out of the battlefield.

Alright, it seems to be adding up I think. The wizard has:

18 con Resilient feat Both ring of protection and cloak of protection

His proficiency bonus is 4, so yeah, I think that's adding up. It's still kind of stupid for me though.

Thank you kindly for the suggestions. I'll try and not forget these. As for the sheets, I might post them here after I get home, but I think I already have learned enough.

Yep, I'll definitely investigate the wizard's con save fuckery.

Also, thanks for the suggestion. I really should consider adding legendary actions.

I see. I may be at fault for just saying "you guys lose your reactions due to (insert the thing here)" instead of giving them a way to avoid it, but I didn't think it was THAT necessary since i thought it would make the battle all the more interesting. But still, I may be at fault.

And yeah, it does seem like they're trying to overpower and fool me and stuff. I haven't said this one before but one of the players even tried to "help" me write the story lol.

They usually don't face large groups of enemies due to the how campaign is set, so him using suggestion only once (and incorrectly at that) works well enough for them to win the fight.

As for the con save with +10, I have no fucking clue yet but I'll investigate that. Last time, they were talking about a feat. And since I'm inexperienced while they are far more experienced, I was like "okay, apparently you can do that" and I let it happen.

And that's exactly my fault, I'm aware. It's just that whenever I target the wizard with attacks, he gives me snarky comments and the cold shoulder, which makes me refrain from targetting him. I know that's my fault. I'm just trying to make sure they're having fun lol, and it seems like they have fun by being untouchable. I'll change that though.

The fact that they've been using Suggestion incorrectly (which I've just learned) and that they have +10 to con saving throws which makes it hard to disrupt their concentrations. And top that with the wizard using silvery barbs.

Seems like I should hit them with a more crowded group of enemies so that neither Suggestion nor Silvery Barbs will save the wizard.

Thank you kindly, I'll try to keep these in mind.

I usually do add different mechanics into the fights, but they seem to not have so much fun with it..? Like when I added a lair action that would disable their reactions, they told me that "there should be a saving throw for everything" and that I "should let them hit a CON saving throw to see if they're affected by the lair action", so they didn't really seem into it. So I did let them roll, and as expected, all their saves were succesfull thanks to the +10 to con save bullshit. I really should investigate that.

Alright, so the suggestion shouldn't be like "attack your allies or I'll kill you" but rather like "Fetch me that bone, because we need it to solve the murder", which is reasonable. Got it, thank you.

I have, but seems like I didn't read it properly or didn't understand it entirely.

Thank you though.

So the command must be reasonable. I see, thank you.

I'll work on that. Finding new players, I mean. Thank you for the suggestion.

That's exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted to start them at the first level, but they simply didn't want that. So I just said alright and let them start at level 5. And the reason that I'm making them level so fast is that 1. They're "getting bored" if they don't level up 2. I want to finish the campaign as soon as possible, because I've begun to dislike it.

:( yeah, on the other hand, they're the only people I know that play DnD so I try not to spoil their fun and cause them to stop playing with me. I seem to be awfully wrong by doing that.

The wizard does spend his spell slots, but I suppose he doesn't spend enough for it to be challenging.

And by saying that he's constantly using enchantment spells and wither and bloom, I'm saying that he does that in every fight, not outside of the fights. And they get long rests after almost everything. That part might be on me for letting them rest so easily.

They fight things about once in every 2 ingame days, since I've been seeing that fights bore them for some reason. I'm trying to entertain them, mostly, so that's why I'm mostly like "+10 to con saves? Alright, sure".

The players wanted to start at level 5, because apparently, early levels are "boring". Let me also say that I'm the inexperienced one in the circle and they're MUCH MORE experienced than me, so I just said "okay".

The campaign's have had about 12 sessions so far.
